We are focusing on creating competitive, innovative and potential Vietnamese start-ups, as well as building a strong start-up ecosystem in Vietnam. HATCH! I. HATCH! PROGRAM OVERVIEW

HATCH! PROGRAM is a start-up incubator and a social enterprise. We are focusing on creating

competitive, innovative and potential Vietnamese start-ups, as well as building a strong start-

up ecosystem in Vietnam. HATCH! PROGRAM consists of three pillars with three teams:

Community Building, Start-up Incubation and Start-up Seed-Funding. 

Community Building

The team focuses on creating values for start-ups by connecting resources, simulating sharing

and building community around the startups scene in Vietnam. Its activities are: HATCH! OPEN

weekly coffee talk, Start-up course, Competition and an annual start-up conference and

exhibition HATCH! FAIR.

Start-up Incubation

The team adds an exceptional value to startup as a product (and prototype) accelerator. Its

activities focus on providing mentorship and hands-on works for 3 months in order to actualize

an initial start-up model into a realistic and feasible business plan. This plan then will be

supported, with seed-funding and advisory, to be realized as a running start-up.

Start-up Seed-funding

The team works on due diligence and support potential startups with necessary seed-funding.

II. RECRUITMENT OVERVIEW

In order to meet the human capacity to fulfill our ambitious goals in 2014, we are recruiting

Associates for 8 new job-based and volunteer-based positions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

IV. JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Start-up Incubation Team

1.1 Account Manager <Hanoi: 1 position, HCMC: 1 position>

The Account Manager will be the main coordinator supporting the communication and management system between one incubated startup and one board of mentors.

Key Job Responsibilities:

o Build and sustain the relationships with mentors and startupso Recruit start-ups and support them in the incubation programo Keep track and evaluating the maturity of the incubated startupso Develop best practices for growing start-ups and mentoring programo Organizing programs & networking events to nurture incubated startups

Requirements:

o Experience or involvement in managing start-ups and business developmento Investment, incubation or startup experienceo Strong interpersonal and communication skillso Details orientation

Measurement of success:

o Satisfaction of 80% mentors and 80% start-ups (still in incubating)o Satisfaction on networking and learning eventso Number of mentors and start-ups recruited and graduate

1.2 External Relations Coordinator <Hanoi: 2 positions, HCMC: 2 positions>

The External Relations Coordinator is to create and manage the relationship with an organization’s external stakeholders and support the Marketing and PR activities.

Key Job Responsibilities:

o Build up and implement external communications planso Build up and maintain the relationships with external stakeholders, especially

key strategic relationshipso Seek potential sponsorshipo Produce an quarter and annual report on Incubation Programo Support implement media relations programs

Requirements:

o Experience or involvement in External Relations and Business Developmento Strong interpersonal and communication skillso Details orientation

Measurement of success:

o Number of established external partnership (strategic partners, services partners, media partners)

2. Community Building Team

2.1 Content Developer < Hanoi: 2 positions, HCMC: 1 position >

Key Job Responsibilities:o Build content for sharing talk, competition and conference

o Work with learning partner to develop content

o Do promotion and delegation services for events

o Prepare logistics and organize events

Requirements:o Pay attention to detail

o Have knowledge about start-ups

o Be creative and good at critical thinking

o Have experiences on organizing events

o Be hard working

Measurement of success:o Satisfaction of attendees with contents and events organizing

o Number of attendees and speakers

o Number of participants who come back at the next event

2.2 External Relations Coordinator < Hanoi: 2 positions, HCMC: 2 positions >

Key Job Responsibilities:o Raise partnerships and maintain cooperation with stakeholders

o Do customer relation management (CRM)

o Manage accounts to ensure the partners pool of HATCH! systematic and

updatedo Support other functional teams in terms of external engagements

Requirements:o Have knowledge about marketing, sales and branding

o Focus on result delivered

o Be discipline and responsible

o Be fluent in English skill for writing business email and verbal communication

o Have the characteristic of out-going

o Be optimistic and patient

Measurement of success:o Number of meetings set up

o Number of partners participated in HATCH! activities

o Amount of sponsorship raised

o Number of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) being signed

2.3 Information Manager < Hanoi: 1 position, HCMC: 1 position >

Key Job Responsibilities:o Manage and update HATCH! communication channels: social networks and

websiteo Promote HATCH! activities and events in collaboration with other functions

o Be in charge of promoting for HATCH! B.I.R.D and make it more applicable for

startupso Build and design content for HATCH! communication

Requirements:o Have knowledge about marketing and branding

o Be able to use design tools

o Be discipline and responsible

o Focus on detail

Measurement of success:o Number of posts and audience interactions

o Number of site visitors and level of engagement

o Number of directory on HATCH! B.I.R.D
