    CURRICULUM

    A New Path incorporates classroom discussions, team interaction, individual counseling, and web-based tools to acilitate

    sel-assessment and personal discovery and to reresh business skills. You will meet regularly with a Board o Advisers who

    will help you to ormulate a personal action plan. Topics include:

    Business Fundamentals for Successful Managers: Finance, Marketing, Negotiations, Leadership, Strategy, and

    Entrepreneurial Effectiveness

    Applying fnancial tools or business analysis, planning, and management

    Discovering new techniques or marketing eectively with an emphasis on the role o the Internet in marketing

    Exploring best practices, understanding competitive dynamics, and employing eective negotiation strategies

    Developing entrepreneurial ideas and anticipating the challenges o an entrepreneurial initiative

    Analyzing the challenges encountered by leaders who ace signifcant organizational change

    Career Planning and Job Search Strategies

    Defning a new career vision via proven sel-assessment tools, exercises, and small group sessions

    Enhancing competitiveness in the global marketplace

    Developing successul job search strategies and tactics

    Creating an action plan or rebuilding a career that meets your proessional and personal objectives

    Learning how to search or a job while managing competing priorities, time pressures, and other obligations

    A New Path is appropriate or on-rampers who want to return to the workorce and or employed proessionals who want to

    ADMISSIONS

    Application Process Please visit www.exed.hbs.edu or complete admission requirements and to apply online. Applications

    are requested at least our weeks beore the program start date. Since qualifed candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-

    available basis, early application is encouraged.

    Admission Requirements Admission is selective and based on proessional achievement and organizational responsibility.No ormal educational requirements apply, but profciency in written and spoken English is essential. Executive Education

    programs enhance the leadership capacity o the managers enrolled as well as their organizations, and HBS expects ull

    commitment rom both. While participants devote time and intellect to the learning experience, sponsoring organizations agree

    to relieve individuals o their work responsibilities during the program.

    Program Fee The program ee covers tuition, books, case materials, accommodations, and most meals. Payment is due

    within 30 days o the invoice date. I admission is within 30 days prior to the start o the program, payment is due upon receipt

    o the invoice. Cancellation policies are outlined in the inormation provided to applicants upon admission.
