Chapter 7: Mudbloods and Murmurs…

• When Harry was in the Hospital Wing for the last match of his first season, they didn’t use any substitute!

• Adrian Pucey and either Warrington or Montague are the other Chasers

• Keeper is Miles Bletchley

• Derrick and Bole are the Beaters

• Malfoy is the Seeker

• Harry begins Quidditch, his team fights with the Slytherins, Ron’s spell backfires, and Harry and Ron do detention

• Yet again, we see that Slytherins are prejudiced against girls, and they don’t even have any of their own on their team

• Marcus Flint is captain and Chaser for Slytherin

Chapter 7: Mudbloods and Murmurs…

• When Ron had to clean the trophies for detention, why wasn’t the Quidditch Cup in Snape’s office if Slytherin won last year, and the head of house gets to keep the cup for the year?

• Ron had “another slug attack” all over the Special Services to the School award when he was cleaning it – that award was Tom Riddle’s award for “capturing” Slytherin’s heir!

Chapter 8: The Deathday Party…

• If Filch has the flu, does that mean Pepperup Potion doesn’t work on Squibs?

• Harry is caught for dripping mud by Filch, he finds out Filch is a Squib, goes to Deathday Party, hears voices, and sees Mrs. Norris petrified and the writing on the wall
