Q: Where would you like to have your wedding? I have always dreamt of a beach wedding and would love to do it

on a beach somewhere in Bali, Indonesia. Q: What kind of a theme would you like? A lot of white and red owers

mostly orchids, roses, and hydrangeas can complement the beauty and serenity of the location. I would also like

the dcor to be in tones of ivory and cream with plenty of goldits currently my favourite colour. Q: What would

you like to wear? On my way to work, I cross the Falguni & Shane Peacock store almost everyday and absolutely adore

their ensembles! I would love to wear something by themfor my special day. Q: What kind of food will be served? I

am a vegetarian, so I would want to keep to that. The feast would be mostly Italian and Indian, my two favourite

THE MORE WE SPEAK TO cricketing superstar Yuvraj Singh and actor Hazel Keech, the more smitten we are. Singhs recent exceptional performance at the Asia Cup with Ms Keech rooting for him immediately bestowed a new sweetheart status upon the couple. And from a romantic proposal in Bali, to appreciating the little things that count, their relation is what modern fairytales are made of. HOW DID THE TWO OF YOU MEET? Yuvraj and Hazel: At a friends party! WE ARE VERY INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHO PROPOSED AND HOW! Hazel: Yuvi proposed to me in Bali. He organised a romantic dinner and surprised me. ONE QUALITY YOU BOTH LOVE AND HATE ABOUT EACH OTHER? Yuvraj: I love that shes so caring. And I dont hate anything about you, actually (addressing Hazel). But if you could make decisions by yourself, that would be good. Hazel: I love that he has the biggest heart Ive ever seen. Theres nothing I hate about you erm (Hazel taking ages to decide), I dont like that you tell me at the last minute were going out and then complain about how long I take to get ready! WHAT KIND OF A WEDDING ARE YOU GUYS PLANNING? Were planning to do both Sikh and Hindu ceremonies. DID YOU THINK ABOUT A DREAM WEDDING WHILE YOU WERE GROWING UP? WHAT WAS IT LIKE? Hazel: When I was little, I watched a lot of Disney moviesso I always imagined a big fairytale wedding as a kid. But when marriage became real, I felt an intimate wedding with close family and friends would be better. WHO WILL BE YOUR BESTMAN AND BRIDESMAID? Yuvraj: I dont have a choice; Angad Bedi has already appointed himself my Best Man. Hazel: I will have my sister Tina Keech-Henderson, and my best friends Bruna Abdullah and Insia Lacewala as my bridesmaids. COULD YOU GIVE US A SNEAK PEEK INTO THE CLOTHES AND DESIGNERS YOU WILL BE WEARING AT YOUR WEDDING? Yuvraj and Hazel: Weve not yet decided who to go with since we have quite a few friends in the fashion industry. WHAT COLOURS DO YOU THINK YOU WILL WEAR? Hazel: Weve not got around to choosing colours yet, but I can tell you it definitely wont be pink! DO YOU BOTH WANT AN INTIMATE CELEBRATION OR A GRAND SOIRE? Yuvraj and Hazel: We have decided to sort of incorporate a bit of both. Weve decided to have small, intimate Sikh and Hindu wedding ceremonies, followed by a big sangeet and then a bigger reception. YOUR FAVOURITE

ACCESSORY, HANDBAG, PERFUME, AND LABEL? Yuvraj: I love DIESEL. And as for my favourite perfume, I like Versace Eros. Hazel: I like picking up accessories as and when I see something I likewhether its from my travels on the streets of a foreign country or more mainstream labels like Accessorize. Then, I love my Tom Fords Mandarino Di Amalfi perfume. And of course, I like my DIESEL handbag. WHERE WILL YOU GO FOR YOUR HONEYMOON? HAVE YOU SHORTLISTED ANY PLACES YET? Hazel: I want to go to Hawaii and surf, and Yuvi wants to go anywhere with a nice beach to be a bumeither Bora Bora or Maldives, and such. WHATS YOUR IDEA OF THE PERFECT DATE? Yuvraj: Somewhere with nice surrounds, a nice ambience, and a quiet place. Hazel: For me, Id love a picnic under the stars hint hint Yuvi. WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE THE THREE MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS FOR A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP? Yuvraj: Understanding, love, and communication. Hazel: Respect, communication, and supporting each other.

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN WORK-LIFE-RELATIONSHIP BALANCE? WHAT IS THE KEY TO DOING IT RIGHT? Yuvraj: You must strike a balance with the same amount of time at work, and the same amount of time in your personal life. Hazel: I think patience and understanding is very important. Also, getting your priorities in order. Although they change from day to day, it is important to make sure you strike a balance between the two. HAZEL, GIVE SOME TIPS FOR OUR BRIDES ABOUT ACHIEVING THEIR DREAM D-DAY FITNESS GOALS. Hazel: Its tempting to try drastic workouts and diet regimes to get in shape for the big day. But Ive decided just to be healthy and workout regularly for long term fitness. You should do the same. AND WHAT IS THE SECRET TO YOUR FLAWLESS SKIN? Hazel: I stick to the basics. I always remove my makeup before sleeping, and moisturise before bed and in the morning. I like to keep things simple. WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE BRIDES-TO-BE? Hazel: Id say, make sure that you and your fiance know what you each want. There will so many other inputs from friends and family, and disagreements do happen at such times. But at the end of the day, remember you are marrying each otherso work as a team. FINALLY, TELL US ABOUT MOST SPECIAL THING YOU HAVE DONE FOR EACH OTHER. Yuvraj: She said yes! Hazel: Picking me up at from the airport himself at 4.30 in the morning.

A bridal gown with a hoodie and a fanny-pack may not be the norm for wedding looks. But who can deny their charm when Argentinian stunner, Mica Arganaraz, steps out outfitted in a magnificently textured blush gown with a long train, hooded cape, and a smartphone friendly pouch to close Karl Lagerfelds haute couture collection for Chanel. In sync with his shock and awe propaganda, Lagerfeld let his closing look usher in a new era of bridal opulence that was subtle yet subversive in its mood. Bringing an undaunted sense of calm and serenity in Grand Palais, Lagerfeld built a faux lawn with lush-green grass and an overset blue sky. Set against the backdrop was a wooden house with inlaid wooden paths serving as the runway, wherein the surrounding ecological retreat offered an eulogy to the collection to follow. A throwback to Lagerfelds spring

2013 collection where rotating wind turbines and solar-panel grids flaked the runway, the couture runway took the environmental sustainability theme into a sophisticated new space that subtly borrowed from the warp and weft of the collection. Translating his eco-inspiration into design, Lagerfelds fabrics were embroidered

with wood shavings, small tiles or patterns of bees, birds, and flowers. Apart from weaving these wooden chips into beading, paillettes, and 3D frills, the collection also made a conscious use of recycled paper and organic woven yarn, thereby opening doors to the notion of sustainable

fashion. Meanwhile, the showstealer for many were the sculptural cork wedges in a range of colours and fabrics, with a classic Chanel cap-toe.
