    Harmonics Analysis

The course is intended to all power system engineers interested in the use of the harmonicanalysis simulation tools in PowerFactory. The course will be dedicated to frequency domainanalysis, such as harmonic load flows or frequency scans for identifying resonance conditionsin power systems.

Besides explanation of the power quality tools in PowerFactoryand training their usage, thecourse provides theoretical background information about harmonics sources and network im-pedance resonances. After attending the course, participants will know how to set up networkmodels for harmonics analysis correctly, and be able to conduct harmonics analysis by them-selves.

The participants should be familiar with the basic handling of DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Expe-rience withPowerFactorys frequency domain simulation functions is not required. The numberof participants is limited to 10. One workstation per participant will be available in the trainingroom for the exercises.
