Hariprasad also quoted Bhaja Govindam, a spiritual treatise, to emphasise key aspects of adopting a guru and fine-tuning required to progress rapidly in the chosen path to realisation. Real knowledge, he said, comes from within and not from books. This is why experi- ence is important than theoretical exposure, he sought to reiterate. Five among the six passengers were women and they had arrived from Colombo. The officials found their movements suspicious and subsequently intercepted them. Investigations revealed that they were part of a nine member gang. The six person detained was a 38-year-old man, and he is said to be the head of the group. When officials physically examined him, they found gold concealed in his rectum. A search of five women in the group also revealed Gold worth Rs 1 cr seized from 6 passsengers that they had hidden the yellow metal in a similar manner, said a media report. The officials retrieved a total of 25 bundles, wrapped in red adhesive tape, from them. Gold rings and chains were among the items seized.

Chennai, May 16: The Customs officials

seized three kilograms of gold valued at Rs 1 crore from six passengers at the Chennai airport. Five among the six

passengers were women and they had arrived from Colombo. The officials found their movements suspicious and subsequently intercepted

them. Investigations revealed that they were part of a nine member gang. The six person detained was a 38-year-old man, and he is said to be the head of the group. When officials physically examined him, they found gold concealed in his rectum.A search of five women

in the group also revealed

Gold worth Rs 1 cr seized from 6 passsengersthat they had hidden the yellow metal in a similar manner, said a media report. The officials retrieved a total of 25 bundles, wrapped in red adhesive tape, from them. Gold rings and chains were among the items seized.
