Any entries submitted after pre-entry deadline will be charged day of show fees. Incomplete and/or unsigned pre-entries will not be accepted.

1. �is is a Harford Horse Shows Association (HHSA) pointed show. �erefore, this show will be operated in accordance with the 2019 HHSA Rulebook, and the rules and regulations therein.2. As per Maryland state requirements, ALL horses and ponies must present a negative Coggins, dated 12 months prior to show date, at the Show O�ce before any back number is issued.3. NO OUTSIDE DOGS ALLOWED on the show grounds property.4. Proper riding attire is required. Any individual mounted on a horse or pony at any time on the show grounds must wear protective headgear that meets current ASTM-SEI standards, with the harness secured.5. Show management reserves the right to make changes to the show schedule as needed, including but not limited to: class locations, additions, cancellations, and combinations.6. STALLIONS ARE BARRED from competition and show grounds.7. Pony measurement cards must be presented in order to recieve a back number. All ponies competing must have a current card issues by HHSA, BCHSA, MHSA, VHSA, or USEF. Ponies aged 6 years or younger must be measured each year. If you are in need of measuring for your pony, please let the show o�ce know.8. A completed and signed release form (must be 18 or older to sign) and payment must be left with the show o�ce before entry back number will be issued. Checks can be made out to HHSA.9. All entries will be judged on soundness at the trot upon entering the ring. �e decision of the ring’s respective judge is �nal.10. Heavenly Waters Equestrian Center, HHSA, and the HHSA show management and sta� assume no responsibility for any damage, accident, or injury which may occur to any horse, exhibitor, spectator, equipment, or vehicle at any time while on the show grounds.11. Cross entering divisons is permitted where eligible. Please refer to the 2019 HHSA Rulebook for all divsion descriptions and respective regulations.12. Schooling will be permitted in both rings until 7:45 am. Restrictions may be imposed during schooling to ensure exhibitor safety at the discretion of show management and show steward. Schooling prior to 7:00 am is at own individual risk.13. A junior rider is anyone under 18 years of age as of December 1st of the previous year.14. Six (6) ribbons will be awarded in each class. Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons will be awarded for each divison.15. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED at any time while on the show grounds.

Model class to be judged 50% on animal's conformation, balance, & way of going at the jog for the show ring. �e class will also be judged 50% on neatness, turnout, & horsemanship of the handler. Handlers will line up in a head to tail

fashion and will be asked to jog down a long side. A second line up may be called out after the initial jog for �nal placing.

M2. HUNTER PONY MODEL 11-17Open to ponies (mares & geldings) 14.2 hands and under. To be handled by a junior 11 years of age to 17 years of age.Model class to be judged 50% on animal's conformation, balance, & way of going at the jog for the show ring. �e class

�e Participant desires to attend and/or participate in an equestrian event sponsored by Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. to be held on August 10, 2019 located at Heavenly Waters Equestrian Center, 608 North Tollgate Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21014 (“Venue”), Participation in the equestrian event (the ”Event”) at the Venue includes, but is not limited to, the riding and or showing of a horse or pony owned, leased or otherwise by the Participant.

�e Participant does hereby freely, voluntarily and without duress, executes this release under the following terms:

1. WAIVER AND RELEASE. Participant or Member do hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. and their respective directors, o�cers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, bills, claims, damages or demands of any nature whatsoever which Participant or Member may now have, ever had or hereafter may have, for, upon or by any reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever from the beginning of the world to the day of the date of these presents in any way relating to or growing out of which arise or may hereafter arise from Participant’s attendance at and participation in the Event at the Venue. Participant or Member understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. from any liability or claim that the Participant may have against Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death or property damage to Participant that may result from Participant’s attendance at and participation in the Event at the Venue or from any Liability of claim that the Participant may have against Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. with respect of any bodily injury, illness or death to Horse that may result from Participant’s participation in the Event at the Venue, whether caused by negligence of Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. or their respective o�cers, directors, employees, or agents or otherwise.

2. MEDICAL TREATMENT. Participant does hereby release and forever discharge Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. and their respective directors, o�cers, employees, agents, successors and assigns, from any claim whatsoever that arises or may hereafter arise on account of any �rst aid treatment or service rendered on connection with the Participant’s participation in and attendance at or any veterinary treatment rendered to Horse or Pony in connection with the Horse or Pony’s engagement in activities in the Event at the Venue.

3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. �e Participant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Event sponsored by Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. at the Venue may include activities that may be hazardous to the Participant, including but not limited to, riding or walking in close proximity to Horses and Ponies. �e Participant acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Event sponsored by Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. at the Venue may include activities that may be hazardous to the Horse/Pony. In connection thereto, Participant or Member recognize and understand that attendance at and participation in the event sponsored by Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. at the Venue may, in some situations, involve inherently dangerous activities and environments. Participant or Member hereby expressly and speci�cally assumes the risk of injury or harm to Horse/Pony arising from it’s Participation in the Event and release Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. from all liability for injury, illness, death, property damage to Participant or Horse/ Pony resulting from the Participant’s attendance at and/or participation in the Event sponsored by Harford Horse Shows Association, Inc. at the Venue.

4. OTHER. Participant or Member expressly agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Maryland, and that this release shall be governed by and interpreted on accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland. Participant or Member agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise a�ect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.

Participant or Member has executed this Release as of the day and year �rst above written.

I agree that if I am a parent or guardian of a junior participant, I consent to the child’s participation and agree to all of the above provisions and agree to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child’s behalf.
