3.4 Connecting network In order to receive streamed videos and control data, and to show application data from other system devic-es, P110 controllers must be connected to a Local Area Network (LAN).

If you have an existing LAN for your business data, it is important to decide in advance if you will use this LAN for all data or rather set up a second LAN for the video data. This would be your video network or video LAN.

Prior to connecting your video LAN to the P110 controller(s) for the first time, consult the respective software user manual for instructions on the required initial configuration!

The latest editions of our user manuals can be found on the secured Barco website www.barco.com/mybarco.

Network and data cable connections can be made while the system is running. However, if the network connection is set to use a DHCP server, a reboot may be required. For details on the DHCP setting, please refer to the software user manual on the secured Barco website www.barco.com/mybarco.

3.5 Connecting power supply

Check the power rating on your outlet before connecting the external power supply unit of your P110 to the wall outlet or to a power strip. Contact your facilities manager or a qualified electrician if you are not sure about the type of power supplied to your building.

The P110 is designed to operate with single-phase power systems having a grounded neutral conductor. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not plug into any other type of power system.

• Plug the DC power connector of the power supply into the DC in connection of your P110

• Tighten the thumb screw.

P110 rear view and external power supply

• Connect the external power supply to a power outlet (power cable is included in delivery volume for most countries).

For power cords not provided, contact your local dealer.

Make sure power cables are approved for your country!
