The hardcore punk often called simply hardcore, is a subgenre of music derived from punk rock that originated in the United States and later in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s.

It is characterized by assuming the evolution of the strongest aspects of punk, the tempo and rhythm are fast, at rates of fast and aggressive batteries, lines of guitars executed quickly and with few fixes, amplified with sound distortion, the bass usually makes the same note chord guitar (no scales, occasionally with octaves), the voice is almost yelled, fast and songs are usually short.

Hardcore various genres have emerged, sometimes merging with metal subgenres as deriving melodic hardcore, post-hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, grunge and much more.

Originis

The first performers of this genre were bands like Bad Brains, Teen Idles, Midle class, and Black Flag who played a fast and heavier than other more traditional punk groups like The Ramones or Sex Pistols punk. This stronger musical style, disseminated, went on to become a musical genre known as hardcore punk generalized term especially after the appearance of LP DOA Hardcore '81 perfectly describing the new generation of punks.

Speed and “Short songs” 

The technical and expressive feature is crucial Hardcore rate rhythms, drum beats applying similar to using other music genres such as folk, country or rockabilly in its fast dance songs. This creates a frenetic musical environment, which is expressed in concerts across the pogo dancing, stage diving and mosh or slam, fostering an energized atmosphere.

The Hardcore Punk as “Subculture” 

The hardcore and punk make up a heterogeneous but prolific source of youth, art, neighborhood, socio-political, and atmosphere of inspiration and exchange of ideas and information. The spread of hardcore has been closely linked to skateboarding and similar sports.

While the hardcore scene as a youth movement differs from punk to leave behind the schemes and ideologies of destructive trend and opt for a more positive movement.

hardcore as thought has an even more proactive, dynamic and some young strong complement to bet on various policy areas, although many of the ideologies of punk still intact in hardcore
