HARD HAT HAPPENINGS PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE PROJECT SPOTLIGHT First Quarter - 2018 As JESCO turns the page on a successful first quarter of fiscal year 2018, we anticipate the onset of summer and to the start of new work oppor- tunities for the company. This period has reflected positive results on earnings & sales….for all our operating units….and JESCO’s safety re- sults for the same period are outstanding. All this does not come without effort…from everyone…and those efforts are most appreciated! As we enjoy the excellent results with which we have been blessed over the past several years, we need to always recognize that….how we treat our customers, our peers, and those in our community….is the ultimate gauge of our success. Noted educator & inventor George Washington Carver once observed: How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and toler- ant of the weak and strong. Because….someday in life you will have been all of these.” I encourage each of you to take time this year to make a difference….with a coworker….with a relative….with a neighbor or friend….or maybe to a total stranger. And remember to put yourself in someone else’s place before trying to lead him or her. Let us also commit to improve on how we do things, to maintain a passion for this business, to do what we say that we will do….every time, and to keep safety upper-most in our daily rou- tines. Thank you all, once again, for a great start to 2018. Continue to establish and chase your goals!
