The New Campaign Explores Artistic Creativity and Expression

This year, Happy Socks is proud to announce their newest partnership and campaign with global entertainment icon and true artist, Snoop Dogg, called Happy Socks presents "The Art of Inspiration". The campaign is an artistic collaboration where Happy Socks gave Snoop Dogg carte blanche to explore his new found passion for painting and encourage creativity. The Swedish brand provided a platform for Snoop Dogg to discuss and illustrate his passion for different creative mediums and why painting is an essential component to his progression as an artist.

“For many years, I’ve always felt like painting was something that I wanted to do but I just never had time to do it. Sometimes, the music and my life don’t explain exactly what I’m going through. So that’s another piece of the puzzle. It’s like a piece of Snoop that we can take with us forever,” said Snoop Dogg.

Captivated by unique socks, Snoop Dogg encountered Happy Socks last year and immediately included pairs into his everyday rotation. Quickly picking up on his love for Happy Socks, the Swedish brand began organically working with Snoop Dogg and his creative team Cashmere Agency, to culti-vate an intriguing new partnership.

"The Art of Inspiration” will be revealed globally on November 1st 2014.

Snoop Dogg is a multi-platinum artist and entertainment icon. With over 20 years in the industry, Snoop’s ability to stay at the forefront of popular culture and new technology through hit records, brand partnerships, innovative digital strategies, philanthropy and more has resulted in unwavering relevance. His reggae album, the Grammy-nominated REINCARNATED, was recorded in Jamaica and documented in the film of the same name. The project chronicles the spiritual awakening he found through the people and culture of Jamaica. His latest album, 7 DAYS OF FUNK, is a much- lauded collaboration between the artist (performing as Snoopzilla) and L.A. funk maestro Dam-Funk that was released in December 2013 to rave reviews by Stones Throw Records.

CONCEPT STORESIn August 2010, Happy Socks opened its first concept store in Stockholm, Sweden. The store is located in the heart of the most vibrant area and popular shopping district in Stockholm. Two years later, Happy Socks opened its second shop in Shibuya, Tokyo. The next major shop opening was in New York City. A SoHo Concept Store opened on April 1st 2013, between Prince and Spring Street.

Following the above successes, and in order to protect the position as market leader within fashion socks, Happy Socks developed a plan to open flagship stores on strategically high image locations globally.

Stores are now being opened across the globe at a rapid pace, for example: Dubai, India, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong now all have Happy Socks stores.
