This will take a while! 3 Cut thin slits to make a fringe. 2 Cut a 2-inch (5-cm) strip of colored paper lengthwise. This will be the color of your flower. 1 toothpick or bamboo skewer (trimmed) scissors 5 On the short side of a piece of green paper, cut a 3-inch (8-cm) strip. 4 Tape the curly fringe at the top. Tightly roll the strip of paper lengthwise to make the stem. Tape down the edge. Wrap the fringe around the stem in a spiral. Tape down the end. Then add leaves if you want. I wonder if Grandma will notice it’s not real?
