Dear Parishioners, Life in the Church slowly returns to normal. This weekend we take another step with the penitential act of the Mass returning to normal — no more “general absolution”. Through the first weekend of August, I will be available for confessions Saturday mornings at Holy Cross from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM. Through July, I will be available at St. Luke on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and thru 8:00 PM if people are in line. “Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” Luke 15:7 Fr Jim Dubrouillet

The facilities of Holy Cross are available to all ACTIVE parishioners. This includes the use of the church for Baptism, Weddings & other Sacramental events. Active Membership is determined as follows: 1. Registered in the parish for 6 months.

2. Faithful attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days.

3. Financial support of the church according to your means. Marriage: Those contemplating marriage should contact the office at least EIGHT months prior to the wedding date to schedule an appointment with the Priest. Baptism: Parents must attend a training class prior to having a child baptized. Please call the parish office to schedule the training.

The Act of Hope Prayer

As of June 15, we were permitted to resume our non-sacramental meetings with the same restrictions as Mass.

1. Social Distancing (6' apart) 2. Minimize the time spent in a room. (1 hour or less) 3. If food and drinks will be provided, measures need to be made for the safety of your members.

Please notify the office with the date and time your group will resume. This will allow for the air conditioners to be scheduled and the doors to be opened. Given that information we will advertise the start of your group.

Groups restarting: Men’s Prayer Group Monday, 11:00 AM in the Church Hall Sacred Heart Prayer Group Friday, 10:30 AM in Villano Hall Catholic Outreach 2nd and 4th Thursdays, 9:00-noon in Villano Hall. Volunteers will be called as needed.
