Reflection:

There is so much fear in our hearts today. We worry a lot. We worry about this pandemic corona virus. We worry about what we will have for lunch and how we will settle our bills on payday. We worry about the beginning of classes for the kids. We worry about retirement and getting old. We worry about getting sick. We worry from misunderstanding with a neighbor. We worry from the petty theft to killings. Parents worry about their children who are not at home at the regular time. We worry a lot and we have become a nation of worriers. We need to tell our teenagers that there is much good concealed in them that will be exposed. It is a special concern of parents to bring this about by appreciating their good qualities, by showing joy over success in eve-ry success they meet, by making them believe in their own abilities and helping them grow in self-confidence. Their self-image is built up slowly by the positive reac-tions they get. If on the other hand we constantly nag and criticize them for every little mistake, they believe that they are no good, and what is beautiful in their lives will remain concealed.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

During this 2019-2020 school year, we THANK YOU for the numerous ways you have worked collaboratively with our school community. We especially appreciate the greater role you embraced in your child’s learning during this Pandemic Crisis. A special MAHALO to everyone for following all the guidelines provided for the student pick up on June 1st and 2nd. If you were unable to come to school on those two days, please contact our school office to arrange for a pick up of your child’s report card, awards, and other personal items and drop off school textbooks for Grades 3-7.

We also appreciate your patience as we plan our “ON CAMPUS LEARNING’ Guidelines for the 2020-2021 School Year. Our first concern is the safety of everyone and following guidelines provided by the State, CDC, and our Diocese. Based upon the current information that has been provided, we are sharing the following guidelines which everyone will be expected to follow. More information and details will be forthcoming. Our goal is to have Wednesday, August 5th as our first day of school as scheduled on the 2020-2021 school calendar. We are looking forward to seeing all of you and your children for the Opening of School on Campus. Be sure to note the summer office hours and check the Tuition Discount flyer. Please stay well and be safe. Let us thank God for all His grace and blessings bestowed upon all of us. Have a blessed week!

Sincerely in Jesus Christ,

Ms. Beverly Sandobal
