My dear friends,
Happy Father’s Day
A Word to All our Fathers A very Blessed and Happy Father’s Day to all who celebrate this day as Fathers, Step-Fathers, Grandfathers
and Godfathers. The gifts you share with your family touch the lives of so many others as you and they reach
beyond your family in love and care of others. We look to you for guidance, leadership and love. Thank
you for sharing these gifts with us. Let us take a quiet moment in our day to thank these men and ask the
Lord to bless them with abundant life. Today, let us also hold in prayer those fathers who have gone before
us to eternal life.
A Word to our Graduates
Congratulations to our Graduates! Many of our young people are graduating from College, High School,
Grade School and even Nursery School during these weeks. While it has been the most unusual time for
them and for us, we need to congratulate them and also assure them of our support as the graduation class of
2020 becomes one of the most memorable in centuries.
To all these young parishioners who celebrate their Graduation we offer both our congratulations and our
prayers as you complete this step in your life journey and begin a new path. Your genuine effort and
wonderful accomplishments accompany you along the way. God Bless You All!
Ordinations to the Priesthood
We have all heard the call for vocations to the priesthood and religious life and many pray daily for these
vocations. On Saturday morning, the Diocese celebrates the Ordination of two seminarians to the priesthood
at Saint Agnes Cathedral. They are Father John Crozier and Father Rafal Borowieiski. Please pray for
Father John and Father Rafal, asking God to hold him in his loving hands throughout their priesthood. Let
us also pray for many more vocations to the priesthood. We are in dire need as a Church at this time.
A Word of Hope for our World
As we enter into the summer months, let us continue our prayer for all those who have suffered with Covid-
19 during these past months, remembering especially those who have died and their families as they mourn
the loss of their loved ones. Let us also pray for the victims of violence on our streets, the suffering in our
communities, the poor who have nowhere to turn, and the sick who need our presence and comfort. Let us be
a people of hope and a people of prayer that we will hear the call of the Gospel command to Love our God
and to Love one Another.
Love & prayers ~ Father Peter
Prayers for the Sick and the Deceased Let us pray for those from our parish who are ill, especially those who may have contracted Covid-19, both
those here in the parish and throughout our country and the world.
May the Divine Physician bring them healing.
Let us hold in prayer those who have died, among whom we mention, Josephine Moriarty, and John DeFeo.
May They Rest in Peace.
Deep Gratitude To all who have been mailing in their weekly envelopes to support the parish, please know how grateful, both
I and the staff, are for your support. Knowing full well the financial challenge this pandemic is to many of
you, your support means all the more.
Thank You and let us continue to support one another in every possible way.

died during this pandemic. We

Soles4Souls shoe collection in
memory and tribute to them. They devoted
themselves to so many special causes that touched
the lives of endless people. I’m sure they are
looking down from heaven and still blessing us by
their lives. If you still have shoes that you were
hoping to donate, please bring them to the
collection box in the Parish Center Lobby. The
boxes will be there until Friday, June 26th. If you
