Happy Christmas from Great Oaks School It’s been a week of Christmas concerts, on Tuesday we held our Key Stage 4 and Post 16 concert, Wednesday was the turn of Key Stage 3. Both were excellent events packed with variety of music and loads of enthusiasm. We had everything from dubstep to signed carols and ipad music to some heavy metal. We even had a Doctor Who special Christmas edition from Post 16 on Tuesday. Well done to all the pupils involved and to Miss Peters for organising it all. Each of the classes have been decorating their class Christmas trees this week ready for our competition on Wednesday. The theme this year was our whole school aim – ‘Yes I Can’. There were some amazing trees including 10Ws Wise Men tree which had pictures of all their achievements, 8Ws snowman who wants to be a Christmas tree and 10P Cassey ‘yes I can’ be a Christmas tree.
