PARTICIPATE IN GCC’S “SCRIP” PREPAID GIFT CARD PROGRAM
*** It is a Win-Win Deal for you AND the church! ***
It is extremely easy - purchase prepaid gift cards here at GCC for your own use (just like cash) or give them as gifts.
GCC benefits from each and every SCRIP card purchase by way of the RETAILERS donating a certain percentage of your gift card purchase back to the church! Some retailers give 2%, 4%, but
sometimes as much as 15-20% !!
Prepaid gift cards are available from retailers such as: Amazon, WalMart, BP Amoco, Office Depot, Bath & Body Works,
Cabela’s, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, JCPenney, Menards, Kohls, I-Tunes and lots more
Many, many restaurants Motels, Airlines, Movie Theaters Cosmetics, Online shopping, etc.
This is just a sample; simply put, the list is QUITE extensive!
AMAZON “Smile” USE AMAZON SCRIP to also donate to Brothers in Blue Reentry (a church-supported ministry)!! Here’s how: Order by way of Am-azon Smile (https://smile.amazon.com) and select “Brothers in Blue
Reentry” as your charity of choice. Amazon Smile will then do-nate .05% of your qualifying purchases (paid with Amazon SCRIP
cards) to Brothers in Blue! It’s still Amazon; just use the above ad-dress for each shopping trip. It’s a win-win for GCC as well as BIBR!
Stop by the SCRIP table in the Fellowship Hall and see what cards are available for ordering; we even have some on hand that you may
purchase AND use today!
Would you like to volunteer at our SCRIP table? Its easy, and it’s a great way to meet people while serving the Lord.

Children’s Ministry September News to You!
New Curriculum for Preschoolers through 5th grade during Kids’ Own Worship starting September 6th. Join us for Candy. This is a 12 week curriculum and will run through November 22nd. Also starting in September, babies through 5th grade will begin using the Orange Curriculum. 9/6—Gum—Solomon was the wisest man on Earth, and af-ter trying to find pleasure in earthly things, he found that every one of them was meaningless. Only Jesus can give us something that lasts, eternal life and joy! 9/13—Sour Candy—When we follow our own plans and not God’s, the plans that we thought would turn out sweet usually turn sour. Following God often means letting go of our own plans and desires. When we do, we find that He will put us on a much sweeter path. 9/20—Mints—Sometimes when we sin, we try to cover it up. We can never hide our sins from God, but the good news is that Jesus wants to forgive our sins and give us a clean heart. 9/27—Movie Candy—If you don’t count the cost of going to a movie before you go, you may be in for a shock. Jesus wants us to count the cost of being a disciple, but when we compare that cost with what Jesus gave up for us, there is simply no comparison.
