HANUMAN SADHANAS Sadhanas of Lord Hanuman are really amazing in the results they produce and what more they are so easy and quick acting that there could be no other Sadhana like them. Then what is the need to go in for tough rituals when all solutions can be ad through them.

Years back a friend was to appear for an interview for a job but he was in the grip of fear. He needed a job badly, but more than 200 candidates had been called when only five were to be selected. Tension and doubts had made my friend nervous. I advised him to just recite the Hanuman Tantra Chamatkaaraanushtthaan once before he went in for the interview. And so he did. While others sat outside poring into books, he sat there calmly mentally repeating the divine verses. When he was called in he looked calm and cool and he went inside with full confidence. He was selected and to this day he says that it was the Lord who saw him through.

It is also a tested fact that one can walk through a dense jungle or even a funeral ground without fear of being troubled by spirits, snakes or animals, especially when one keeps repeating Hanuman Mantra or Hanuman Chalisa (a special prayer of the Lord in verse form).

Water energised with Hanuman Sadhana has often been poured into the mouth of ailing patients in grave pain and the results have been miraculous, for with the grace of the Lord they regained their health. For the Lord nothing is impossible, because one who can carry a whole mountain, or defeat even a great warrior like Ravan can rush with amazing alacrity when a Sadhak is in pain.

Hanuman is an epitome of celibacy, power, courage, fearlessness and complete faith. An enemy or a problem is never big or small. It is rather one's confidence that can help one overcome even the worst. And a Sadhak of Lord Hanuman is everflowing with confidence, for he ever remains aware that there is always the mighty Lord nearby to protect him.

Important Rules For This Sadhana

1. The idol of Hanuman should be smeared with a paste of vermilion and sesame seed oil.

2. Among the various sweets it is best to offer jaggery, coconut, laddus in the morning, jaggery, ghee and chapati (Indian bread) mixture (choorma) at noon and fruits like mangoes, guavas and bananas at night to the Lord.

3. Only large red and yellow flowers like lotus, sunflower and marigold should be offered.

4. A ghee lamp with one or five wicks should be lit.

5. Celibacy should be maintained during Sadhana.

6. If possible take a bath only with water from a well.

7. The Mantra should be chanted clearly, looking straight into the eyes of the Lord.

8. Sadhanas should not be tried with evil intentions.

9. Lord Hanuman signifies true devotion, hence the Sadhak should be fully devoted.

10. Having a picture of Lord Rama and Sita in the place of Sadhana pleases the Lord.

18.4.2000 is the birth day of Hanuman, and there could be no better day for Hanuman Sadhana. A Sadhana tried on this day cannot fail and the Sadhak gets the desired results very soon. Presented ahead are some wonderful rituals which could be started from this day or any Tuesday.

THE BASIC SADHANA PROCESS

In the Sadhanas that follow the initial Sadhana process remains the same. Only the Sadhana material shall differ.

Wear red robes and sit facing South on a red mat in Veerasan (as Muslims sit for prayers). Cover a wooden seat with vermilion and on it place a picture of the Lord. In a copper plate place the Yantra and other materials. Next take some water in your right palm and vow thus - I (speak your name) accomplish this Sadhana for fulfillment of this task.

After this close your eyes and meditate on the mighty form of the Lord. Next chant thus -

Udyanmaartand Koti Prakat Ruchiyutam Chaaru Veeraasanastham,

Mounji Yagyopaveetaarunn Ruchir Shikhaa Shobhitam Kundalaamkam.

Bhaktaanaamishtadam Tam Prannat Munijanam Vednaad Pramodam,

I pray to Lord Hanuman who is refulgent like a million suns, handsome, seated in Veerasan, who wears the sacred thread Yagyopaveet, who is worshipped even by Yogis, who is the Lord of Vaanars, who can jump over the ocean and who can fulfill all one's wishes.

Hanuman is all powerful, courageous, removes all problems and sorrows. Chanting his name is enough to fill one with courage and energy.

Before yourself place Hanuman Yantra in some plate. On it smear vermilion. Next offer a mixture of jaggery, ghee and chapati. Thereafter chant 11 rounds of the following Mantra with Red Coral rosary.

Om Namo Hanumantaay Aaveshay Aaveshay Swaahaa.

After completion of the Mantra recital go to sleep there itself. This Sadhana should be tried only at night and must be continued for 11 days. Let the sweet offered remain at its place. The next day put it in some utensil and offer fresh sweets.

The eleventh night Lord Hanuman without fail manifests before the Sadhak and provides solutions to the problems of the Sadhak or blesses him with desired success.

After completion of Sadhana give away the sweet collected on all eleven days to some poor person or go and bury it in the earth in South direction from your home. Sadhaks have managed to ward off acute problems, ailments and even possible incarceration through this Sadhana. Without doubt this ritual is unfailing and unique.

BOOST YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE

Several sudden occurrences in life make a human lose his sense of balance. In such circumstances one must remain determined and unmoving like a rock like Lord Hanuman. Whatever be the circumstances, however negative be the atmosphere, one needs to remain unperturbed, and capable of taking the right decision. Such a capability can be gained through the following powerful Hanuman Sadhana.

Placing a Hanuman Mudrikaa ( a special ring) before yourself chant the following Mantra daily 21 times

Om Hum Om Hum Om Hanumate Phat.

Try this daily for 5 days and after Sadhana wear the ring in some finger. After two months leave the ring in some temple in the feet of the Lord. This Sadhana shall provide you with a shield-like confidence and determination.

SUCCESS IN YOUR TASK

Place a Bajrang Yantra in some copper plate. Smear Three Madhuroopen Rudraksh with a paste of vermilion and sesame seed oil. Place one each on the right, left and in the front of the Yantra. After this chant 5 rounds of the following Mantra wit a Red Coral Rosary.

This is a 12 day ritual and after this all the articles must be dropped in a river or pond.

Place a Hanumat Yantra before yourself and in its centre place a Maaruti Munj Phal. Then chant this Mantra for half an hour without keeping count.

Repeating the Sadhana daily for seven days helps in riddance from some sudden problem. Later leave the articles in some temple.

SUBDUING ENEMIES

If some foe is proving to be a great threat to your life, reputation, position, family or job or if you are caught in some court case then he can be subdued through this powerful ritual. Place a Bajrang Yantra before yourself and on its right hand side make a mound of rice grains. Then smear vermilion on a Baalaadikam Dand and place it on the mound. Then chant 11 rounds of the following Mantra with a Red Coral rosary.

Om Poorva Kapimukhaay Panchmukh Hanumate Tam Tam Tam Tam Tam Sakal Shatru Sanhaarannaay Swaahaa.

Repeating this for eight consecutive days brings forth amazing results. On the ninth day leave all the articles in some secluded spot under the open sky.

NEUTRALISING SPIRITS AND EVIL PLANETS

This is a really fast ritual which should be tried at night. One does not need any rosary for it. Place a Hanuman Yantra before yourself and on it place a Hanuman Baahuk. Next chant the following Mantra 1000 times. This shall put an end to all problems created by spirits or evil planets.

Do this regularly for five days. After five days drop the Yantra in a river or pond and tie the Hanuman Baahuk in a red thread around your neck or around the neck of the person for whom the ritual has been accomplished.

HANUMANMANTRA CHAMATKAARAANUSHTTHAAN

Shankaracharya, a Siddh (spiritually accomplished person) in Hanuman Sadhanas composed the Divine Hanumanmantra Chamatkaaraanustthan, which basically contains 20 Mantras.

Out of these twenty, seven main Mantras are being reproduced here for the good of the Sadhaks. 11000 chantings of all these Mantras must be completed from one Tuesday to the next and a Coral rosary should be used to keep the count. For this Sadhana one must wear Hanuman Gutikaa tied in a red cloth around one's neck suspended from a black thread. Daily the seven Mantras should be chanted at least 1000 times for ensuring success in life.

Shakti Udbhavam Bhaya Naashanam.

It is rise of power that destroys fear.

In the present age of Kaliyug, Bheirav Sadhanas are the most easy and effective. The text Tantraalok describes this deity as Bheibheemaadibhih Avateeti Bheirav i.e. one who protects one from even the gravest dangers is Bheirav. The text Shiv Mahapuraan states that Bheirav is a form of none other than Lord Shiva.

The next two months are very auspicious for Bheirav Sadhanas specially the two days of Kaalaashtmi (26.5.2000) and Batuk Bheirav Jayanti (11.6.2000). Presented here are six very powerful Sadhanas of the Lord which can be tried any time during the year but which would prove more fruitful if tried during these months.

One should offer Gur (jaggery) and ghee (clarified butter) to the Lord in each Sadhana. This is the choicest food of the Lord and this offering pleases him most.

Daily offering a chapati smeared with ghee to a dog during the Sadhana also pleases the Lord.

The Kaali Khand chapter of the ancient text Shakti Sangam Tantra relates to the origin of Lord Bheirav. Once a demon with name Aapad had gained great powers through Sadhanas and he used to harass even the gods. The gods got together and started to think of ways to find a solution to this problem. As they concentrated their powers a flash of light appeared from their forms and it assumed the form of a five year old child , Batuk. This child killed the demon Aapad and saved the gods from his tortures. Tat is why he is known as Aapad Uddharak Batuk Bheirav.

This year Batuk Bheirav Jayanti (birthday of the Lord) falls on 11.6.2000.

This is the best day for this Sadhana.

The Sadhana

Try it on 21.4.2000 or tenth day of any fortnight of any Indian month. Before yourself make a mound of black sesame seeds (Kaale Til) and on it place a Batuk Bheirav Yantra. Then join both palms and meditate on the form of the Lord chanting thus.

Next take some rice grains in your right hand and pray for the solution of your problem, pain, affliction etc. Then move your hand around your head and throw the rice all around

your worship mat. Thereafter chant 11 rounds of the following Mantra with Batuk Bheirav rosary daily for a week.

Batuk Bheirav Mantra :

Om Hreem Batukaay Aapad Uddhaarannaay Kuru Kuru Batukaay Hreem Om Swaahaa.

After completion of Sadhana throw the Yantra and rosary in a river or pond. Very soon you shall have favourable results.

UNMATT BHEIRAV SADHANA (For The Ill And The Childless)

After visiting the holy shrine of Amarnath in Kashmir, pilgrims also visit the temple of Unmatt Bheirav. It is one among the famous spiritual seats of the Lord. Shankaracharya had himself established this seat and instilled divine powers in the idol of the Lord placed there. This seat lies in the South direction from Amarnath temple and is about half a kilometer from there. Many miracles have occurred at this place. It is believed that if a Sadhak walks bare feet to this seat and offers sweets to the Lord his wish sure gets fulfilled. Right behind this Bheirav temple is a pond of hot water and just by bathing in it several ailments like diabetes, asthma get cured. Unmatt Bheirav robs one of all one's ailments and bestows perfect health.

Benefits of this Sadhana

1. It is a very powerful ritual for remedying health problems that are chronic and have plagued one for a long time.

2. It is also the best ritual for begetting a child. Many childless couples have successfully tried this ritual and have been blessed with children.

The Sadhana

Start this Sadhana from any Monday night. Wear a white Dhoti/saree and light an oil lamp. Before the lamp place an Unmatt Bheirav Yantra (in form of amulet) in a copper plate.

Before this Yantra make a mound of rice grains and on it place a Shubhra Sfatik Manni. Join both palms and meditate on the form of the Lord chanting thus.

Aadyo Bheirav Bheeshanno Nigditah Shree Kaalraajah Kramaad,

Shree Sanhaarak Bheiravopyath Ru Rushchonmattako Bheiravah.

Krodhashchand Unmatt Bheirav Varah Shree Bhoot Naathastato,

Hyashtou Bheirav Moortayah Pratidinam Dadhyuh Sadaa Mangalam.

Then taking some water in the hollow of your right hand pledge thus - I, (name), am doing this Bheirav Sadhana for my own (or a family member's) good health. May the Avataar of Lord Shiva, Bheirav put an end to all my ailments (or bless me with a child). Having pledged thus let the water flow to the ground.

Thereafter offer Kaajal (soot prepared from a mustard oil lamp) and vermilion (kumkum) on the amulet and the Manni. With a White Hakeek rosary chant 5 rounds of the following Mantra.

Unmatt Bheirav Mantra

Om Un Unmattaay Bhram Bhram Bheiravaay Namah.

After two weeks throw the rosary and Manni in a river or pond. Thread the amulet in a white string and put it around your neck or the patient's neck. If the Sadhana has been accomplished for a child then the wife should wear it. After a month throw it in a river too.

KAAL BHEIRAV SADHANA (For Allaying Fear Of Foes, Accidents And Death)

The name Bheirav is enough to invoke fear in an individual but the Lord is fearsome not for his Sadhak but for his enemies. For the Sadhak he is very kind and protects him always. Just as we have bodyguards who look fearsome and awe inspiring with their guns and other weapons, similarly Bheirav is a deity who wields awesome powers and protects one from dangers. We need not be afraid of our bodyguards, similarly a Sadhak should have no fear of the Lord. This Sadhana is very easy and simple, which any person, be it a man or a woman can try. Kaal Bheirav temple is there in the holy city of Ujjain and it is known as the temple of miracles. Many truly remarkable Tantra experiences are related to this shrine.

Benefits of this Sadhana

1. The Tantra texts describe it to be the best Sadhana for putting an end to enmities and rendering the foes unhostile.

2. If you fear your life because of some enemy or you fear that the enemy could harm your family or children then this Sadhana provides a divine shield against all attacks. The enemy loses his hostile attitude and stops giving trouble.

3. If you have fear of death, accident, fire, weapons or unnatural death then this Kaal Bheirav Sadhana is the best remedy. It can prevent even death.

4. Even women can try it for their own and their husbands' and children's safety.

The Sadhana

The night of Kaalaashtmi is the time for conquering even death. This is a very auspicious time that combines the blessings of both Lord Bheirav and Goddess Kaali. Start this Sadhana from Kaalaashtmi (26.5.2000) or the eighth day of any fortnight of any Indian month.

For this wear a red or yellow Dhoti/saree. Then sit on a red mat facing South. Before yourself place a steel plate and in it write

with vermilion (Kumkum). In the centre of the plate place the Kaal Bheirav Yantra and Mahaa-Mrityunjay Gutikaa. Also keep some iron nails ready. For example if there are seven members in your family then seven nails should be enough.

Wrap the holy red thread (Mouli) around each iron nail. Keep chanting

Om Bham Bheiravaay Namah

while you do so. Then offer the nails one at a time on the Yantra each time speaking out the name of a family member. This ritual is for procuring divine protection for each family member. In this Sadhana the Stotra Mantra of Lord Bheirav is chanted. Chant the following Mantra 108 times.

Yam Yam Yam Yaksha Roopam Dash Dishi

Viditam Bhoomi Kampaayamaanam.

Sam Sam Sam Sanhaar Moortim Shir Mukut

Jataa Shekharam Chandra Bimbam.

Next take some black mustard seeds (Kaali Sarson) in your right fist and chant the following Mantra 11 times. Then move your hand three times around your head and wrap the seeds in a paper.

Om Kaal Bheirav, Shamshaan Bheirav, Kaal Roop Kaal Bheirav ! Mero Beiri Tero Aahaar Re.

Kaadi Karejaa Chakhan Karo Kat Kat.

Om Kaal Bheirav, Batuk Bheirav, Bhoot Bheirav, Mahaa Bheirav, Mahaa Bhaya Vinaashanam Devataa.

Sarva Siddhirbhavet.

Next chant the following Mantra for one hour.

Kaal Bheirav Mantra :

Om Bheiravaay Vam Vam Vam Hraam Shrom Namah.

This is only a single day Sadhana. After the chanting is over take the nails, the seeds, the Yantra and Gutika and go and throw them at some crossroad.

BHEIRAV PRATYAKSH DARSHAN SADHANA (For A Divine Glimpse And Fulfillment Of Some Wish)

Benefits of this Sadhana

1. Lord Bheirav is the most quickly appeased by this Sadhana and fulfils the wish of the Sadhak.

2. There are many more Sadhanas and rituals for having a divine glimpse (Darshan) of the Lord, but this is the best Sadhana for this purpose.

3. Through this Sadhana one wins the good will of the Lord for the whole life. The Lord then protects the Sadhak from all dangers and whenever he is in a problem the Lord rushes to his rescue.

The Sadhana

Wear black clothes and sit on a black mat. During the Sadhana period maintain celibacy. Start the Sadhana from 22.6.2000 or the fifth day of the dark fortnight of any Indian month. Try it only at night. Sanyasis and Yogis perform this ritual only on a river bank, in a funeral ground or a temple of Lord Shiva, but for a common man separate room or space at home should do just fine.

Make a mound of vermilion and on it place a Bheirav Yantra. Then make a human figure with clay and colour it red with vermilion. Then place it over the Yantra.

Pray to the Guru for success in the Sadhana. Then taking some rice grains in the left hand chant the following Mantra and throw the rice grains in all directions for protection from negative forces.

Aatma Raksha Mantra

Om Hraam Hreem Hroom Namah Poorve.

Om Hraam Hreem Hroom Hroum Namah Aagneye.

Om Hreem Shreem Namah Dakshinne.

Om Gloom Bloom Namah Neikritye.

Om Proom Proom Sam Sah Namah Pashchime.

Om Bhraam Bhraam Namah Vaayavye.

Om Bhraam Bram Bhram Phat Namah Eishaanye.

Om Glom Bloom Namah Oordhve.

Om Ghraam Ghram Ghrah Namah Adhodeshe.

Thereafter make a mark of Kaajal on your forehead and also on the Yantra and the clay figure. Make marks with vermilion as well. Then with a Black Hakeek rosary chant the following Mantra. The Mantra of this Sadhana is very powerful, hence only the strong hearted person should try this Sadhana. Women, children and old people should better keep off this Sadhana. This Sadhana is to be done at night only. One Lakh chantings have to be done to complete this Sadhana. So decide yourself in how many days you wish to complete this ritual and calculate the daily number of chantings yourself. If you wish you can chant 25 rounds of the following Mantra daily for 40 days.

During Sadhana one may visualise the form of Lord Bheirav. The night you have such an experience do the following the next night.

Offer a blue cloth on the clay figure and make a mark on it with vermilion mixed with mustard oil. Arrange the following eatables - a chapati smeared with mustard oil, a sweet

prepared from jaggery and wheat flour, jaggery, and pakoras made from Urad Dal - in a plate and offer them to the Lord. Light incense and start chanting the Mantra.

If the Lord does not appear that night then repeat this the next night as well. If he fails to appear again repeat the third night and he shall surely appear. VIKRAAL BHEIRAV SADHANA (For Negating Evil Influence Of Planets And Bad Company)

The present time span is not very good astrologically, considering the planetary positions. Astrologers have predicted world war, nuclear holocaust, natural calamities and loss of lives and property in view of the impending six planets confluence in April and three eclipses in July. This apprehension is not altogether baseless for the situation around the globe does indicate such possibilities. This is a very powerful Sadhana, hence try it only after having had Guru Diksha. Start this Sadhana on a Friday, Sunday or Tuesday between 7 April and 13 May. Do it at night only. This Sadhana can be started from a moonless night as well. Wear black clothes. Sit on a black mat facing South and place a Bheirav Gutika and a Tantrokt Nariyal before yourself. Then take some mustard seeds (Sarson) in your fist and speak out the name of person, enemy or problem from which you wish riddance. Then speaking the following Mantra throw the seeds in all directions.

Then with a Black Hakeek Rosary chant 14 rounds of the following Mantra daily for 8 days.

SWARNNAAKARSHAN BHEIRAV (For Gaining Wealth And Riddance From Debts)

The text Rudrayamal Tantra states that there is a different form of Lord Bheirav associated with each of the ten Mahavidyas. The form of the Lord associated with Mahavidya Kamala is known as Narayan Bheirav. Just as Kamala is another form of Lakshmi, Goddess of wealth, similarly Narayan Bheirav is a deity who puts an end to one's poverty and blesses one with good fortune and wealth. This is why he is also called Swarnnaakarshan Bheirav - the deity who attracts gold.

Benefits of this Sadhana

1. Don't expect gold to shower in your home after this Sadhana. Rather you shall get opportunities of sudden monetary gains and new sources of income.

2. If your money is blocked somewhere or someone is not ready to return a debt then, this Sadhana can help a lot in recovering the money.

3. If the Sadhak himself is under heavy debt, then his debts get paid off and he becomes prosperous.

At night have a bath and wear a yellow Dhoti/Saree. Sit facing North. Light incense. Pray to the Guru for success. Place the Swarnnaakarshann Bheirav Yantra before yourself. On it make a triangle and on the three corners of the triangle place Three Kamala Beejs.

Join both palms and meditate on the form of the Lord chanting thus.

Shree Yantra is a powerful and unfailing instrument that attracts Laxmi, the Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity. She is in fact compelled to manifest at the place where such a Mantra-energised and consecrated Yantra is placed. You might have been to the Tirupati temple in the South and might know of the immense wealth that flows into the shrine daily. But you might not be aware that it is actually the magnetic power of an enlivened Shree Yantra established there that draws in so much wealth.

It can never be that an incense stick be lit and no fragrance emanate. Similarly a human under the benevolent effect of Shree Yantra is ever showered upon by wealth, money and comforts.

Having this Yantra is undeniably the easiest and best way of bidding adieu to one's financial problems forever. And its use can be as diverse as the means for acquiring wealth that manifest once it is obtained. A doctor with a bad practice can establish it in his chamber and pull more clients, a shopkeeper can similarly draw new customers in hordes by fixing it in his shop, a factory owner can expect a bloom in production by worshipping the Yantra, while a person in job can get an out of turn promotion and pay rise by keeping the Yantra at home or office. The possibilities are unlimited and whichever field you might be in, the Yantra proves to be a marvellous means to a better, wealthier and prosperous life.

People today feel that they do not get returns in proportion to their sincere and honest efforts. Thus much frustrated they are easily lured by corrupt means to get rich quick. Any person can in fact gain wealth, fame, respect, power, prosperity, vehicles and all luxuries by simply placing a Shree Yantra at home and worshipping it.

One need not worship it daily, but there sure is a special way of establishing it at home or in one's office. Early morning on any Wednesday in a clean, sacred place spread a yellow cloth and then draw a Swastik with vermilion on it. Thereafter place the Shree Yantra on this figure.
