But Hansel and Gretel were evil. They hated their parents. Soon they got so sick of their parents that they took their mother and father to New York City. They said to their parents that it was Big Shopping Day in the city and everything was 50% off. Their parents were so happy that their father closed the sawmill for the day.

Next, Hansel and Gretel walked their parents into the city. Their parents didn’t even notice that nothing was 50% off, they just kept on buying. Then Hansel and Gretel found a magical car which was made of candy and it took them back home Soon their parents noticed that Hansel and Gretel were gone! Hansel and Gretel already went home, and they were messing around and making a mess.

Then, their parents ran outside looking for a taxi it took an hour to find one. When they got in, the driver said they had to pay but they forgot they spent every penny on things they bought so it took them 4 days to walk back home! The only things they could eat was the snacks they bought. When they got home the house was a total mess!

Hansel thought their plan would work but it didn’t! Finally their parents sent them to their rooms, and lived not so happily ever after.
