Electricity Standard electrical service for each booth is 230V, 50Hz, 2 Ampere / single phase. Booth lights are pre‐wired and do not require a dedicated outlet. Outlets for each booth will have one single receptacle against the back wall: To determine your power needs, add up the total wattage of all the equipment you plan to display. If it exceeds 2000 watts (2 KW) you will need to order more than one outlet. You can order 380 V, 50 Hz, 3phase, but 110 V, 60 Hz, 2phase is not available. • HFUSA Order Form 2 Section VI
Important! It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility of your display equipment with available power prior to shipping it to the show. Order plenty of extension cords, adapters and multiple strip outlets without internal power control circuitry; they are difficult to find in Hannover. If your equipment does not have internal current switching, also bring your own power converters. They can be rented in advance. • HFUSA Order Form 4 Section VII

Shipping, Insuring and Mailing Equipment and Literature We recommend that you use the services of a freight forwarder or shipper that has experience with HANNOVER MESSE. Don’t risk having your exhibit materials arrive late—or not at all—by using a shipper without international trade show experience. Hannover Fairs USA has appointed DB Schenker as the official freight forwarder for U.S freight going to the show. Schenker’s office is located directly on the fairgrounds providing German Customs clearances, delivery to the booth, handling of empty packing materials and the ultimate re‐export or transport of your goods to their final destination at the conclusion of the event. For more information or shipping quotation, please complete the Schenker Fairs RFQ Form or contact DB Schenker directly:
DB Schenker +1‐800 225‐5229 fairs‐[email protected]
Mark your calendars with tentative ocean shipping dates: West Coast: February 22, 2016 Central: February 29, 2016 East Coast: March 7, 2016
On‐Site Drayage If you are not shipping with Schenker, your freight forwarder will need to contact one of the on‐site drayage companies, for delivery and pick‐up on the fairgrounds. For further information about these companies contact us.
On‐Site Storage Storage of exhibit materials and empties is not available in the pavilion. Please contact your freight forwarder for special arrangements prior to the show.
Insurance No insurance is provided by Hannover Fairs USA for your exhibit products and transportation. Please call your freight forwarder for information on exhibit and shipping insurance.
Incoming Packages Shipments and packages should be addressed as follows: Individual’s Name c/o Company (or Exhibit) Name HANNOVER MESSE 2016 Hall #____ Stand # ___ Booth #____ Pavilion Name Deutsche Messe AG Messegelände D‐30521 Hannover Germany
Please note!Your exhibit equipment must be packed and ready to be picked up by your freight forwarder on the evening the show closes, since the booths will be dismantled during the night. Transportation Many tradeshow participants choose to travel to Hannover using Germany’s very efficient rail system, which offers connections from most major European cities. Visit Deutsche Bahn on the web at http://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml for timetables and fares. While Hannover becomes crowded during the show (and traveling to the fairgrounds during rush hour can take some time), getting around in the city is simple.
