• SOLMAN_SETUP transaction has been executed System preparation Basic configuration Managed system configuration For SAP Solution Manager (SM6) and 1x ERP System (ECD) Diagnostics Agents Deployed (DAA 7.30)

• Basic security roles copied from base SAP roles No need to assign SAP_ALL

• Start using Project Administration early in your project for the most success

• SAP Solution Manager is the best place to store your blueprint documents It’s central and will always be part of your SAP landscape

• Create some kind of formalized project team member training before granting access to SAP Solution Manager

• Don’t overestimate the work required to use SAP Solution Manager Uploading documents and detailing executed activities only

takes a few minutes more• Leverage the roadmap and accelerators provided by SAP to build

your project templates if you don’t have any
