Handrail Per PIP STF05521

I am creating a handrail per a PIP Standard and I need toknow how I can create an handrail with out and railings.When I turn the railings off I lose the post. Does anyoneknow how to accomplish this.

Turn at least one rail on. Run the handrail, turn off groupingand delete the rails so you are left with the posts.
