    1. JURISDICTION

    3.2. RYCO 24.7 V8 Utes Championship – Round 4: 1 x 8 Lap, 1 x 12, 1 x 10 Lap Races (time certain) Conducted in accordance with the 2019-20 NZ V8 Utes Championship Series Articles and Technical Regulations as approved by MSNZ.

    3.3. Best Bars Toyota 86 Non Championship Round: 2 x 12 Lap, 1 x 14 Lap Races (time certain) Conducted in accordance with the 2019-20 Best Bars Toyota 86 Championship Articles and Technical Regulations as approved by MSNZ.

    4. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

    4.1. The Schedule of Events is attached to these Further Regulations.

    4.2. The Schedule of Events may be varied or altered in accordance to the NSC.

    5. COMPETITIOR UNDERSTANDING

    5.1. In electronically signing the online entry form, competitors (Entrant and Drivers) are deemed to fully understand the Motorsport NZ National Sporting Code and its relevant Appendices and Schedules including MSNZ Accredited Series Articles. In particular: − The National Sporting Code Articles pertaining to protests and the competitors obligations, and − For Golden Homes North Island Endurance Series, Schedule Z Articles detailing Flag signals and Code of

    Conduct, and − For RYCO 24.7 V8 Utes and Best Bars Toyota 86 – Schedule CH or relevant Championship Articles detailing

    Flag Signals, Race suspension and restarts, Safety Car deployment and Code of Conduct.

    6. COMPETITORS BRIEFING

    6.1 Due to Covid 19 social distancing restrictions a written competitors briefing will be issued prior to the Event, A written briefing for new competitors will also be issued prior to the Event.

    7. ENTRY CLOSING DATES, ENTRY FEES & ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRY 7.1 Entry Closing Dates:

    Normal Entries for Round 1 close 5pm Friday 4th September however late entries will be accepted up to 8.00am on Monday 14 September 2020. Normal Entries for Round 2 close 5pm Friday 9th October, with late entries accepted up to 8.00am on Monday 19 October 2020. Entries accepted in payment date order subject to acceptance by NIERDC Inc Please note all payments are non-refundable.

    8. IMPORTANT CHANGES TO DOCUMENTATION & SCRUTINEERING

    8.1. Due to Covid 19 requirements, Documentation will be processed prior to the Event, All Competitors must have completed the online entry form. You must also ensure you still bring your Competition Licence, Club Membership Card and your Log Book with you to the Event.

    8.2. A photo image of your MSNZ Competition Licence, Club Membership Card (showing expiry date) and your Log Book showing the vehicle’s details and Log Book number MUST BE EMAILED TO [email protected] BY 5PM WEDNESDAY 16th SEPTEMBER.

    8.2. Under Covid 19 restrictions a Self Scrutiny of Vehicle Safety Form is attached and forms part of these Regulations, Competitors must fill this form out and email it to [email protected] BY 5PM WEDNESDAY 16th SEPTEMBER. Please also note the original copy is to be retained in your Log Book for signing off by a Scrutineer when the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted.

    9.1. All persons in Pit Lane at any time while the circuit is being used for competition must have the appropriate accreditation and must have completed and signed the Pit Crew Disclaimer Form attached and forms part of these Regulations. They must be dressed according to MSNZ regulations for the area, and for their duties at all times when they are in Pit Lane.

    9.2. No equipment may be placed on the Signaling Wall at any time.

    9.3. Competitors must not paint lines or markings on any part of the Pit Lane.

    9.4. The speed limit in Pit Lane is 40kph for all vehicles.

    9.5. At Pit Lane Entry and Pit Lane Exit, there are solid lines separating the exit and entry lanes from the circuit, known as the Blend Lines. No vehicle may cross a blend line when entering or leaving the Pit Lane. Should a vehicle cross the blend line, penalties will apply, ranging from a warning to drive through penalties.

    10. START AND END OF PRACTICE, QUALIFYING AND RACE SESSIONS

    10.1. Prior to all Practice, Qualifying and Race Sessions the Assembly Area for Toyota 86, V8 Utes and any North Island Endurance Competitors NOT in Pit Lane Garages is the concrete strip behind the Pit Lane Garages at the Pit Exit end.

    10.2. For North Island Endurance Competitors based in Pit Lane Garages you will be released from outside your Garage.

    10.3. Best Bars Toyota 86 and RYCO 24.7 V8 Utes will consist of a Championship Start procedure as per their Championship Articles.

    10.4. At the end of each session, the vehicles will receive the chequered flag and then exit the Circuit as follows:

    Toyota 86, V8 Utes, NIES vehicles NOT in Pit Garages via Pit Lane Entry turn right to paddock area

    North Island Endurance vehicles based in Pit Garages via Pit Lane Entry to Garages

    11. IMPORTANT EVENT SPECIFIC INFORMATION

    11.1 Pack in - this is available as follows (including those hiring garages):

    Thursday 17 September 16:00 – 18:00 Please Note Teams will not be permitted on Site before 16:00 Friday 18 September 07:00 – 18:00 Saturday 19 September 07:00 – 08:30

    11.2 Trailer Parking: All open Trailers MUST be parked in the dedicated Trailer Park.

    11.3 Pit Paddock Parking: The Pit Paddock area is for Competition vehicles and Transporters ONLY. There is a dedicated Event Parking Area in close walking distance to the Paddock Area. A Pit Layout Map showing Garage and marquee allocation is attached on Page 4.

    11.4 Competitors are reminded that Event Officials and Security Staff will be present at the only access gate during the Event, any Competitor or Team member who threatens or abuses, or refuses to follow instructions from a Gate Official may be penalised under National Sporting Code Vlll Article 94.

    11.5 Competitor numbers: physical number banners will not be issued, you will need to ensure you have your permanent racing number displayed on your car prior to the meeting. In the case of number double-ups the organisers will be in touch with affected competitors to arrange an alternative number.

    11.6. Teams pitted on asphalt are reminded to place plywood panels between jacks and the asphalt, plywood panels will be available on request.

    12. ESSENTIAL INFORMATION REGARDING COVID 19 REQUIREMENTS

    12.1. Important information will be sent to ALL COMPETIORS on Monday 14th September that will include Crew details required for gaining access to the venue.
