Developing Knowledge

Flashmeeting• “Video conferencing was an

exciting new experience for the children (and the teachers!). It gave our able children a great opportunity to interact with the other pupils to share data, and develop their communication skills”. Melanie Sharpe HLTA

The video conferenceGeorge: “That was great – I really enjoyed it, and it was fun seeing all the other groups there at the same time. And meeting up this way, we have saved energy and haven’t made lots of waste carbon dioxide”

Celebration day• Each school made a presentation of their

findings• It raised questions for the children• Each group evaluated the project:

– What they enjoyed– Knowledge acquired– Improvements– Advice to others

Comments

We have liked doing the pond project because:

George: It involves ICT and Science

Sam: it involves working with other people and

looking at creatures.

Maddy: I liked it because we got to find out about the

blue Damsel Flies
