Final Project
Goals/Objectives:◦ Students will team up with a local business to
produce a website for that business using what they have learned about the web design process as well as their skills in html, flash, CSS, etc.
◦ Students will learn about the web design process through the creation of a professional website for a local business
Students will need to turn in:◦ A finished website◦ All required design elements
Students will learn about the process of web design by hearing from a professional web designer.
Video
Students meet with local businesses to discover their requirements for the website. At least 1 of these meetings will be in person, however there may be others conducted via phone, email, texting, etc.
Students work on design elements including any research that needs to be done to complete their site, hierarchical, content and design layouts for their business
Project Two.docx
Students meet with their businesses to share their design and get the final go ahead. This may be done in person or via email or other electronic means.
Students create the site

Aside from 1 guest speaker, the teaching techniques used for this project will be constructivist, collaborative and project based learning with students researching requirements & creating the design and website
