Central ventilation creates a safe, healthy, and
comfortable indoor environment. In contrast to natural
ventilation a centralised system offers sufficient
supply of clean air at all times, in any situation.
Flat- or space-specified ventilation allows easy and
instantaneous adjustments in line with temporary
changes in the requirements indoors. Correct indoor
humidity conditions and stable indoor temperature
prevent dampness from accumulating in the
structures and create a comfortable indoor climate.
Halton’s demand-based systems, room-specific
adjustments, and carefully designed functionality
result in energy-efficiency.
Halton offers high-quality solutions for ventilation in
residential buildings. The products are quiet, easy to
install and clean, and have a wide operation range.
Central ventilation is also suitable for renovation sites.

Demand based apartment ventilation system
Application description
The demand-based apartment ventilation system
provides the desired ventilation rate in different
operation conditions according to the occupants push
button commands.
The airflow rate can be selected by the occupant
between three different airflow rates. This way the
indoor air quality can be provided energy-efficiently in
changing load conditions. Also possible for continuous
adjustment with automatic room controller.
MIN
Minimumairflowtoensurehygienicconditionswhile
space or apartment is unoccupied.
NORM
Normal airflow to ensure comfort conditions while
space or apartment is occupied and on normal daily
use.
MAX
Boost airflow for temporary use in example for high
occupancy rate or after showering.
The air flow control is independent of the pressure
variationsintheductwork.
The room pressure balance can be maintained at the
desired level – over-pressurized or under- pressurized

Fire dampers for all applications
The Halton fire damper range is type approved and
compliant with the latest European EN 1366-2 and EN
13501-3 standards. All Fire Dampers are certified with
CE-Mark according to EN15650 providing oportunity to
use it anywhere within Europien Union. The range
consists of insulated EIS and non-insulated ES fire
dampers up to a fire-resistance period of 120 minutes.
When non-insulated products are used, additional
insulation may be applied to the ductwork for reaching
the insulation requirements set in the national building
code of certain countries.
The Halton range makes the design and installation of
fire dampers simple. All products are approved for use
in concrete, masonry, and lightweight walls and in
floors up to the stated fire rating. Products are also
installation-ready for all usage situations as delivered.
In sum, there is no need to specify installation details
for each damper. Ordering and storage are made
easy, and product pricing is transparent, without
installation accessories that create hidden costs. The
Halton fire damper range offers a sound, easy, and
efficient choice for the whole design and contracting
chain.

Halton’s air-filtration products meet regulatory
requirements and standards, and they provide a safe,
high-quality indoor environment in an energy-efficient
manner. Halton’s extensive product range offers air-
filtration products and services for a wide range of
applications, from production facilities to offices and
hospitals and from laboratories to homes.
Filter materials
Glass-fibre-based filter materials are suitable for such
purposes as separation of particles in paint shops or
carpenter’s and metal workshops, whereas a synthetic
mat is used as a preliminary filter at many sites.
Coarse filters
Coarce (bag and panel) filters are intended for
removing the largest particles, such as sand and
pollen, from the air.
Fine filters
Fine filters (bag and panel) manufactured from
fibreglass efficiently remove bacteria and fine particles
from the air. They can also remove a considerable
proportion of the particles caused by traffic and
energy production. Halton’s fine filters are Eurovent-
certified.
EPA, HEPA, and ULPA filters
HEPA filters remove nearly 100% of the impurities in
the air. Filters of these types are used, for instance, in
hospitals and industrial cleanrooms.
Filter packages for ventilation devices in detached
houses
We also offer filter packages manufactured for
domestic use. The filters include a coarse mat and a
fine cassette or bag filter.
