Huddle Notes 10/31/14 8:30 am

Everyone was in costume. Way to go team! Our fearless team captain was Superman and her two sidekicks were an old whoopee cushion and a grumpy old man (does the word “stinky” comes to mind?). Staff came dressed as super heroes (of which they are), a scary clown, day of the dead queen, mechanic and a black widow. It is great to see the team in Halloween spirit!

Becky shared with staff her trip with Randy to Green Theory, upscale retail shop in Bellevue, WA. Becky was very impressed with the “Nordstrom’s” customer service philosophy. The shop appeared to be geared towards business professionals between the ages of 24 – 55. There was a line all the way outside to get into the shop and all those who went in appeared to be buying products.

Becky’s meeting with the Washington Marijuana Association was a success. The meeting room was standing room only and there we a lot of questions asked about; plant canopy, traceability, edibles, finding locations, current status of applications and advertising, just to name a few. She hopes that eventually staff will be able to attend these association meetings. Becky believes there are about three of them in the State. Becky noted that many of those in attendance has good things to say about the licensing specialists they worked with and conveyed to staff that she was very proud of what they do for the Agency.
