Craft Time Materials

• Paper Plate

• Orange Paint

• Cupcake Liners

• Black Marker

• Paint Brush

• Glue Stick or Wet Glue

Instructions

1. Cut the middle of the paper plate out leaving a “wreath” 2. Paint the paper plate “wreath” with orange paint. 3. While the paint is drying, draw a jack-o-lantern face on the cupcake liner, you can do more

then one face if you’d like. 4. When the paint is dry, glue the cupcake liners to the “wreath” 5. Once the cupcake liners are glued to the “wreath” add “Happy Halloween” to the top with

your marker, or a favorite Halloween saying.

HALLOWEEN SAFETY TIPS

Plan your trick-or-treat route ahead of time. Pick streets that are well lit and have

neighbours that you know.

Take a parent, or an older sister or brother with you when you go trick-or-treating. If

someone older can’t go with you, then go with a group.

Trick-or-treat when it is still light outside, if possible.

Wear a costume that makes it easy for you to walk and can be seen after dark.

Carry a flashlight and use reflective tape on your costume so that people driving cars can

see you.

Do not eat your candy until you get home and an adult can check it over to make sure it’s

safe.
