Halden Zimmermann is widely-regarded as being one of the most astute and perceptive operators currently worrking in the world of business and finance. Having started his professional career as an engineer for ITT Automative suppling electronic components to giant automobile manufacturers such as BMW, Toyota and General Motors, Halden rapidly became in charge of supervising Product Development before seeing his role expand to encompass Continuous Improvement and Quality, before going on to Plant Management and concentrating his abilities on Turnaround and Consolidation. So successful was he in the position, that ITT sponsored him to attend the Simon School of Business on the University of Rochester's prestigious MBA program – the youngest student ever to be accepted in the history of the university.

Shortly after graduating, Halden moved to Alcan, where he focused on Global Operational Restructuring and Continuous Improvement before heading to Paris, France, where he took on a Global Marketing role. Subsequently, Halden moved to Cardinal Health where he became Director for the Mail Order and Alternate Care Services division. The division's growth had stagnated and Halden led the Strategy Development section to implement a strategy to facilitate Strategy and Marketing by focusing on a value-added consultative service. This proved immensely successful and Cardinal saw its revenues grow to $8.9 billion in just two years. It is this commitment to innovation which underscores Halden's firm belief in implementing Leadership Skills Development as a core strategy in whichever company he is working.

Halden Zimmermann is currently Vice President and General Manager for Leica Microsystems. Leica is an operating company of Danaher concentrated on industrial technologies, medical and surgical capital, and life-science research-imaging solutions. He therefore fully understands that not everyone is able to persuade investors that a project is deserving of funding and is adamant that leadership skill development is so crucial for the inventor in persuading others to support the initial concept all the way from its most basic outline to its introduction to the marketplace.
