Factors which will be considered during the consultation

The Nu Hair Clinic team led by Dr Kunnure will assess the patient. Initial assessment will involve taking a full medical history. Next step involves specific history about Hair loss and assessment of Donor area.

The patient is examined with special tools and will be shown the donor area and the density of hair. This will allow Dr Kunnure to assess the potential number of grafts available and to make a plan.

Assessment

This is followed by an assessment of the recipient area, and then Dr Kunnure will explain to the patient with the help of diagrams specially made for this purposes, what can be achieved. The final stages involve calculating the number of grafts required to obtain good results.

This will done by drawing the hairline and area to be covered. Picture will be taken and shown to the patient and explained what recipient area could look post procedure.

Assessment

Once the plan is finalized the hair transplant doctor will calculate the amount of donor hair or grafts required to deal with the patient’s hair loss which is achieved through a combination of macrophotography and computer analysis.
