running downhill I fall through the autumn sky

star countingwe walk the spring moonup the hill path

morning raga…a honey bee attemptsto waken the bud

dense fog . . . the train evaporatesinto a distant horn

mountain bridge I pass throughthe clouds

the pausehe takes on his flute —spring rain

sepals around a bud the mountains guarda riversong

dripping mist pulls the sky into the valley

winter loneliness:the sofa she vacatesholds her shape

waitingfor a bengal tiger…I sense the powerof silence

spring carnival: after much haggling, I win the laughing Buddha

the ocean in a raindrop inside my womb a heart

thunder coming downhill the sound of glass bangles

the wind howling horizon on a wave

harvesting grapes . . . the season slips throughher fingers
