disease

Patients diagnosed with any of these gynecologic cancers
are seen in our multidisciplinary clinic by a team of
gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation
oncologists, genetic counselors and health psychologists.
Each patient is individually evaluated and treatment is
tailored to each patient’s needs. In addition to treatment,
the UW Carbone Cancer Center is committed to improving a
woman’s quality of life and minimizing side effects while she
undergoes therapy.
Our gynecologic oncologists work collaboratively with
regional medical oncologists regarding chemotherapy
treatments, keeping patients close to home for therapy
whenever possible.
