Not surprisingly, the entire Republican Convention was about trying to reinvent Trump as being qualified, as opposed to what he is, and also demonizing Hillary. I failed to hear anything about policy, especially when it comes to Health Care. But there is a policy and it’s in the Republican Platform. It is a multi-component plan: 1. Vote to Abolish the Affordable Care Act 2. Vote again to Abolish the Affordable Care Act 3. Keep Voting to Abolish the Affordable Care Act If such a vote passed, it would set back any advances towards Universal Coverage, as it is estimated that 21 million Americans will lose their insurance and result in addi- tional costs of nearly half a trillion dollars over 10 years. How would they pay for this? By deporting 11 million illegals and enforcing the immigration laws, of course. This would result in fewer people needing access to Medicaid. And by making Medi- caid a block grant to states that is capped, when the money runs out, so does the health care. So what if the numbers don’t add up? If that doesn’t work, they can al- ways build a wall around every hospital to keep patients out. Trump also said that he would allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices. He would do this because it “would save $300 billion a year.” The only problem is that Medicare only spends $110 billion a year on prescription medication, but facts are too messy. Take the yoke off the back of citizens. No person should be required to buy insurance unless they want to, and if they get sick they will have no right to buy insurance should they then decide they want to. Got it? Only the healthy should apply. Their plan would change Medicare to an income-adjusted contribution for buying private insurance. Why? “To promote competition and make health care more effi- cient.” Translated this means, “more money to the private companies who donate lots of money.” How popular do you think this plan would be? This is the most anti-abortion platform in history. It calls for it to be a crime to trans- fer body parts for research purposes and stops all Federal funding for Planned Parenthood. We finally got away from W’s ban against fetal tissue research so here we go again. And Rep. Marsha Blackburn said “Planned Parenthood doesn’t need the money … 94 percent of their business … is (paid) abortion services.” The fact is that abortions accounted for 3 percent of the nearly 10.6 million total services provided by Planned Parenthood clinics in 2013. What they spend money on is: 4.5 million tests for STD’s, 1 million cancer screenings, 1.1 million prenatal services, etc. But if it is said on the floor of the House it must be true. An educated Representative from Ten- nessee wouldn’t lie, but obviously Marsha Blackburn would. If all else fails he will keep people healthy through nutrition. “Eat more steak,” Trump steaks of course. If you can afford them after paying your tuition at Trump University. He can always declare bankruptcy, which he is good at. What does Hillary know about that? Not surprisingly, the entire Republican Convention was about trying to reinvent

Trump as being qualified, as opposed to what he is, and also demonizing Hillary. I

failed to hear anything about policy, especially when it comes to Health Care. But

there is a policy and it’s in the Republican Platform. It is a multi-component plan:

1. Vote to Abolish the Affordable Care Act

2. Vote again to Abolish the Affordable Care Act

3. Keep Voting to Abolish the Affordable Care Act

If such a vote passed, it would set back any advances towards Universal Coverage, as

it is estimated that 21 million Americans will lose their insurance and result in addi-

tional costs of nearly half a trillion dollars over 10 years. How would they pay for

this? By deporting 11 million illegals and enforcing the immigration laws, of course.

This would result in fewer people needing access to Medicaid. And by making Medi-

caid a block grant to states that is capped, when the money runs out, so does the

health care. So what if the numbers don’t add up? If that doesn’t work, they can al-

ways build a wall around every hospital to keep patients out.

Trump also said that he would allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices. He would do

this because it “would save $300 billion a year.” The only problem is that Medicare

only spends $110 billion a year on prescription medication, but facts are too messy.

Take the yoke off the back of citizens. No person should be required to buy insurance

unless they want to, and if they get sick they will have no right to buy insurance

should they then decide they want to. Got it? Only the healthy should apply.

Their plan would change Medicare to an income-adjusted contribution for buying

private insurance. Why? “To promote competition and make health care more effi-

cient.” Translated this means, “more money to the private companies who donate

lots of money.” How popular do you think this plan would be?

This is the most anti-abortion platform in history. It calls for it to be a crime to trans-

fer body parts for research purposes and stops all Federal funding for Planned

Parenthood. We finally got away from W’s ban against fetal tissue research so here

we go again. And Rep. Marsha Blackburn said “Planned Parenthood doesn’t need the

money … 94 percent of their business … is (paid) abortion services.” The fact is that

abortions accounted for 3 percent of the nearly 10.6 million total services provided by

Planned Parenthood clinics in 2013. What they spend money on is: 4.5 million tests

for STD’s, 1 million cancer screenings, 1.1 million prenatal services, etc. But if it is

said on the floor of the House it must be true. An educated Representative from Ten-

nessee wouldn’t lie, but obviously Marsha Blackburn would.

If all else fails he will keep people healthy through nutrition. “Eat more steak,”

Trump steaks of course. If you can afford them after paying your tuition at Trump

University. He can always declare bankruptcy, which he is good at. What does

Hillary know about that?
