Ar~aona where he was engaged an roducer for the 2lst season a t the famous 8omfrero Pla house While in Phoenix, Mr. Little presented doward Kpal. Ray Walsto? Kathryn Crosby. Mildred Natw~ck. Cornella 0 t d S k i ~ e r and other greats of American show business In addition to Ann Sothern Robert Cumminqs and Vivian Vance. . .all &ho .will appear In Sullivan this season. Mr. Ltttle returned to Sullivan in time. to remodel the balcony of the theatre remortng the old pro- jectipn booth and elevbting the meats; and in- stallmg a new curved stage curtain-all to celebrate the opening of the 12th season in Sullivan.

Long before: Mr. Little opened the Grand Theatre hack m 1957, he hoped and planned that someda he would have a theatre where musicals andr plays could be presented. He got his first job m professional theatre as an ap-

rentice at the Keene New Hampshire Summer bheatre in 1951 and 'worked the two following summep at. the Gateway Musical Playhouse near Atlant~c C~ty .

After aduation from the Univernity of Miami, f r . Little took graduate courses at Columbia Universit and The American Theatre Wing before retwafn. to central Illinois in the spring of 1957 to look for a theatre location

Mr. ~ i t t L has presented 112 major &oductionr--both plays and mrlsicals-featuring many outstand~np; stars and supporting cants from Broadway, Hollywood. T V and Opera. The first season ran nine weeks and had an attendance of 8000. The Little Theatre-On The Square was 'open for twenty-four weeks last year and had an at- tendance ~f 8?.000. . .a mast gratifying in- erereel The Little l ' h e a t n - ~ n The Square also has a Children's Theatre rh ich presents pro- ductions for young audiences on Saturdays dur- ing late June, July and Aups t . Mr. Little strongly believes that stock should he a prov- in^- ound and workshop for young talent to devesp as actors-singerr-dancers and technicians.

Before beginning her career on the stage. Miss Morison was an art student and as a teenattar she very nearly went to Paris to study art. One day she hopes to retire to Mexico and spend the rest of her life painting, but for the preaent, her po~ulartty ha8 made this an "im- possible dream."

RONALD ROGERS (Fred Graham) comes to Sullivan this season after recently ap caring in Kiss Me. Kate. Soutb Pacific and d n - c a n in Michigan. Prior to these productions, Mr. Rog- era has been touring his one-man concert pro- p.m, A Cavalcade.of Musical Comedy, at col- eges and universities and embarks on a third

national tour this fall, covering some fifty cities.

Ronald established his popularity with Sul- livan audiences when he appeared as Tommy in the first production Brrgadoon at the old Grand Theatre twe1;e years a 6. John starred a s Pseudolus in Guy Little's touring production of A F u m y Tbing Happened Oa Tbe Way To The Fonun and received rave reviews throughout the country. Barhra Strei- sand and the Smothers Brothers were among hia associates when he appeared at St. Louis Crystal Palace. This past winter John appeared at Pheaamt Run Playhouse in The Odd Couple with Dan Dailey and in Vorce Of Tbe Turtle with Terry Moore.

DEBORAH WOOD (Lois Lane) a native of Louisville Kentucky joined the company of The ~ i t t l a Theatre-dn The Square this season as lead dancer and assistant to the choreogra~her. Last week she danced "Laurey" in the Oqa- homa! ballet as well as choreographed the entlre show.

While in high school Miss Wood was a member of the ~ a n d e r i ; l a Minstrels and the Louisville Civic Ballet Company dikected by Femand Nault now the head director of Les Grander ~ a l l e & Canadiens

Last year Deborah studied ballet at Hark- ness in New York as well as attending Bamard College. Debbie has appeared as a dancer and singer in Tbe Stephen Foster Story in Barda- t o m Kentucky, site of "My Old Kentucky om;."
