Guns and Cells
What’s the difference?

In both plant and animal cells the nucleus controls the basic functions of the cell. Just like when shooting a gun, the shooter has control of all basic functions of the gun.
The Nucleus

The cell membrane controls what enters and exits the cell. The chamber of a gun brings the shell in and ejects the shell after it has been shot.
The Cell Membrane

The cell wall is used to protect and give structure to the cell. On a gun, the metal is used to build is structure and to protect it from damage.

Is the passage that proteins use to move. In that same sense, the barrel is used for the bullet to move.
Endoplasmic Reticulum

The Golgi apparatus is responsible for packaging and shipping proteins. On a gun, the trigger is responsible for sending the bullet down the barrel.

This produces your energy in your cell. The hammer of your gun hits the shell and that creates the energy in the gun.

This stores the cells waste, food, and water. In a gun, the shell stores the powder that is what the gun works to ignite.

The ribosomes are what produce the proteins. In a gun, the gun powder is like the ribosomes because it produces the bang.

Differences between plant and animal cells
The first big difference is that plant cells have both a cell wall and cell membrane. But the animal cell has only a cell membrane. This is because an animal cell doesn’t need the structure of a cell wall because it has a cytoskeleton.
The next thing is that plant cell have chloroplast and an animal cell doesn’t. The animal cell doesn’t need it because it doesn’t have to make its own food.

Cont.
Also in plant cells photosynthesis and cell respiration take place, on the other hand animal cells only use cell respiration.
