Just a reminder for students to stay in their winter

uniforms until the end of the term. The change

over period from winter to summer uniforms will

be in weeks 1 and 2 of term 4. During this time,

students can wear either winter or summer

uniform. It is expected that all students will be

wearing summer uniform by week 3 of term 4.

    Kitchen Cook Off #5

    Well done to all

    the participants in

    the fifth instalment

    of the Kitchen

    Cook Off on

    Tuesday afternoon.

From all accounts there were fabulous skills on

show in the kitchen giving fabulous feedback on

the strength of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen

    Garden program within our school.

The nights participants should all be very proud of

    their achievements.

    Woolworths Earn and Learn

    With the completion of the

    Woolworth Earn and Learn

promotion I would like to say

thank you to all families and

    community members who

have contributed to the collection of stickers. The

total is being calculated and we should be able to

provide the students with some much needed

    additional resources.

We will keep everyone informed of what your

support is able to provide once the process is

    complete.

    From the Relieving Deputy

    Principal….

    Holiday Programs

With the holidays here you might be left

pondering how to keep children engaged and

    entertained.

There are many activities throughout the break

designed to engage and entertain; further details

    are provided in this newsletter.

    Learning Management Business Reform (LMBR)

Early next term we will be changing over all of our

    business systems (finance, human resources,

    student management and learning management)

to a new platform. The whole of the department

of Education will be changing over to the new

    system this year.

Parents and Caregivers for the most part, won't

notice the change as the changes are all in the

background, however, we may be restricted in our

ability to do business during the changeover –

particularly in the collection and processing of

    payments.

We are asking parents/caregivers to be aware of

these changes and understand that there may be

some disruption to our ability to serve you during

the first three weeks of term.

    Start of Term 4

Term 4 will begin on Monday the 9th October. We

hope all families experience a happy and safe

break and look forward to seeing you all on day 1.

Don’t forget to pack your hat and plenty of water

    so you remain sun-safe.

    Warmest regards,

    Jonathan Smith

    Relieving Deputy Principal
