This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in it’s evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio- cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” commences on 12th March, 2021 which starts a 75 week countdown to our 75th anniversary of Independence and will end post a year on 15th August, 2023.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and

Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad and Vidyabharti Trust Umrakh collaborating with
each other had celebrated 75 Years of Celebration: Azadi ka Amrit Mohatshav.
Following Events were organized under “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”

• Painting Competition
• Speech Competition /Elocution
• GIF Making
• Slogan with Calligraphy
• Tiranga Yatra
• Blood donation Camp
• Book Fair
The Vidyabharti Trust ,Umrakh Campus with following GTU affiliated institutions showcased so
enthusiastically in various events under the banner of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”

• Shree N L Patel college of Pharmacy
More than 200 students from above institutions of Vidyabharti campus had participated in the
various events organized in college. Various events organized are Poster making, Painting
competition, Speech competition, Slogan with calligraphy, GIF competition and Tiranga Yatra,
Book fair and blood donation camp. The Mohatshav was organized for two days with with
various events.
