School Rules
1. Come to School on time everyday!
2. No cell phones.
3. No headphones.
4. Respect yourself and others.
5. Obey the school dress code.
Classroom Rules
1. Be present and on time.
2. Be prepared with materials and assignments.
3. Be on task and educationally oriented.
4. Be respectful to all.
5. Come to class with a positive attitude every day !

Sit in your assigned seat before the late bell rings.
Begin working on your Do Now immediately when the bell rings.

It is your responsibility to make up the work!
You have two days to make-up for each day of absence.
For help, ask before school, after school, NOT during class.
How to Succeed in Algebra 1
Enter room quietly and orderly.
Empty out your mailbox folder.
Grab necessary materials.
Sit in your assigned seat.
Place your homework on your desk immediately.
Do your Do Now
Be on task for the entire class period.
Put back all materials.
Don’t talk when I talk.
Take good Notes
Ask question

Stay in your assigned seat unless you have a valid reason to move about.
Sharpen your
pencil.
Throw away
garbage.
Get a tissue.
Get a drink of water.
Go to the bathroom.
Everyone gets a chance to show me what they know…
DO NOT yell out answers.
DO raise your hand.
DO NOT discourage
anyone from answering a question.
DO give other people a chance
to answer.
Keep your work neat and well organized.

Work as a team when doing group work.
Cell Phones, IPODs, MP3 players, etc. are PROHIBITED!
