Guided MathK–12

Coaching: Gradual Release of Responsibility Teacher Created Materials provides ongoing coaching support that is targeted to specific professional learning goals and designed to build capacity and keep educators on the path to success. Our coaching model assists school leaders and teachers in facilitating their own learning and in evaluating the progress of their work.

Through the gradual release experience, the Teacher Created Materials Coach and teachers reflect on outcomes and learning derived from the coaching sessions to set goals and adjust teaching practices to positively impact student learning. This coaching comes directly from the research literature and is based on the gradual release of responsibility model developed by P. David Pearson and Margaret C. Gallagher (1983).
