CEREMONY LOCATIONSOur water’s edge wedding gazebo, poolside overlooking the bay or private secluded beach,

15 minutes by ferry boat from our hotel offer amazing ceremony locations. These venues may

be set-up with lovely white wooden padded chairs for up to 100 guests, complemented by

your choice of enhancements. The bride travels to the beach wedding ceremony venue via

limousine (extra price applies). The groom, groomsmen and guests travel to our beach wedding

ceremony venue, located 15 minutes away, by ferry boat. The back-up for beach wedding

ceremonies in the event of rain is The Canal House. A back-up call is made by 12 noon

the day of event.

The beautiful, modern and stylish Delphines Grand Salon, the Canal House, which opened late 2010, lends itself to festive receptions. Warm, welcoming space accommodates up to 100 guests for a seated dinner. Delphines Balcony overlooks Bell Channel Bay and accommodates 168 for a cocktail reception.

BONES POOL TERRACE

This open air locale is the ideal location for starlit weddings with gorgeous views of Bell Channel Bay. Bones holds up to 100 guests for a cocktail reception and seated dinner.

The typical time frame for an event is four hours. The reception& dinner may be extended by adding additional Open Bar hours.

The trade winds that blow almost continually throughout Grand Bahama give the island a

warm, agreeable climate which varies little year round. The most refreshing time is between

September and May, when the temperature averages 70-75°F degrees. The rest of the year is

BAHAMAS WEDDINGA Bahamian marriage license is a legal document issued by the Bahamian government and is

recognized in other countries. In order to apply for a marriage license, couples must have been

in The Bahamas for 24 hours prior to date of application. No blood test is necessary.

To complete the application process, couples must bring with them:

1. If either party has been divorced, the original final decree or a certified copy (with a raised or colored seal) must be produced. For European residents, the original decree or a certified copy (with a raised or colored seal) must be produced in the native language along with a translated certified or notarized copy in English. 2. If either party is widowed, the death certificate of the deceased spouse must be produced. 3. The parties must produce some form of identification that has a photograph attached. The identification document must be issued by a Government Office in the country where the parties reside. A passport is required for persons who are residents of a Commonwealth country.

4. The parties must produce evidence of the date of their arrival in The Islands of the Bahamas (i.e., airline ticket, immigration card).

*Please note: all US citizens traveling to The Bahamas are required to have a valid passport.
