    Biographical / Historical

    Harriet Green Kopp was born on June 18, 1917 in New York City. She earned a Master of Arts fomBrooklyn College, 1939; diploma in education of deaf, Columbia University, 1939; and Doctor ofPhilosophy, Columbia University, 1962. Kopp was a professor in the School of Speech, Language, andHearing Sciences at San Diego State University. She died on February 11, 2007.
