Stickers

My own sticker

Stickers are easy to apply, and fairly easy to remove too. They are not temporary, therefore stickers aren’t seen as too much of an illegal crime, but however is seen as littering. I produced my own sticker using bright colours so that it is eye-catching. This image is taken from where an original Banksy piece has been boarded up.

Mosaic work Mosaic work is produced by assembling little bits of material, for example tiles. In Manchester we found some Space Invader work, one especially on “Catlow Lane”. All the space invader work is illegal, as he had done it without commission. The rest is legal work.

Posters

Posters are similar to stickers in the sense that they are both pretty to apply and remove. However, posters usually cover up a larger scale of wall. This is similar to stickers in the case that they are illegal, but mostly seen as littering. They are made by wheatpaste meaning they might eventually be removed.

Commissioned This is just pieces of street art that have been allowed to be produced by the owner/bussiness. They will hire some professional artist and assign them to decorate the building/shutters a specific way or in their own style. The “Fresh bites” work is by Hammo, an illustrator/mural painter. I like his work because It is bright, and the illustration design is eye-catching and suitable for everyone. http://www.thehammo.com

This specific shutter is for Crazy Pedro’s (Pizza restaurant)
