Blog writing is an art in itself. Everyone present on the net is busy writing blogs for their product or services. Apart from having good writing skills at writing there are some more key steps to attain a more efficient blog. However, abiding by these rules solely does not guarantee your blog to be at the acme. These are just some of the key steps one should follow before writing a blog apart from having excellent writing and interpersonal communication skill. Because it is more of an art than Science.
A blog is always a conversation. Before writing a blog, always assume that you are interacting with some one. The perfect would be to assume your best friend or your family member and then write the blog as if you are interacting with him. Over usage of Thesaurus to make the blog more heavy leaves with a lot of intricacies. The reader finds it difficult as to what the blogger is trying to say. It’s better to write the way one speaks rather than being a lofty essay.
Before writing a blog, one should read the blogs for a few weeks first to observe and learn the intricacies of blog writing. Length of a paragraph, use of language, frequency, writing style and the content are the core values of a blog and understanding their correct usage and length is necessary before writing a blog
Consistency is very vital if one wants to be a blog writer. One has to update the information within a day or two about the latest updates. Blogging requires continuous inputs form the blogger, everyday. If one is not habitual of writing daily, perhaps a blog is not his cup of tea. A blog can be anything and that is why one needs to keep it at the back of his mind. One should not be hesitant of writing about daily activities or small things happening like car parking, parking tickets etc. Write about everyday activities. Talk about what is on your mind and the way you feel at a time. This causes frequent updates to happen.
A Co-Blogger could somehow lessen your burden especially if he is regular writer at your place. If you are working with a team, try to coordinate between the team members and encourage the interaction of team
members so that they may coordinate among themselves for the effective functioning of the page. Every blogger should have some responsibility which he should fulfill within the stipulated time.
Consistency should be a regular feature of your blog, irrespective of the time interval after which you are blogging, be it weekly, biweekly or monthly but always try to update on a fixed day and time so that yor readers are expecting something of you at that particular time .It should look more like a TV bulletin which broadcasts at fixed times of the day and the audience know about the timings and content of the program
Blog writing should inculcate a lot of spirit in itself because it demands the art within a person to come out and reach the people
