107-14 STANDARD FOUNTAINS feature a 14” diameter bowl with a 1/8” rolled edge and concealed seam. Crafted from either 16 gauge stainless steel, statuary bronze or bronze, with 14 gauge support arms, in either satin or mirror finish... bubblers can be finished to match. With a wide range of optional cover plates, bubblers, glass/personal water container fillers, etc., you can easily create a custom fountain to suit your needs. A unique feature of our 107-14 Models is the ability to place a standard bowl into a marble, granite or Polymer ring in order to create a truly “one-of-a-kind” custom fountain... perfect to compliment your interior design.

MODEL 107-16-HL "FILLING STATION"Our standard 107-16 models feature an urn-like pro-file and finely tapered edge. The total effect can be clearly seen in this beautiful dual drinking fountain. Shown in stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish, support arms and matching cover plate withcontainer filler. This fountain meets ADA requirements and, with the addi-tion of the cover plate, can be used in renovation to conceal non-ADA plumbing.

107-16 "OUR WORK OF ART" features the graceful, sleek lines inspired by Yamasaki’s designs. Specified by I.M. Pei for installation in the Louvre and the National Gallery of Art. Made in either 16 gauge stainless steel, statuary bronze or bronze, with 14 gauge support arms, in either satin or mirror finish, these 16” fountains are both durable and beautiful. They feature a seamless double bowl with a welded rim, which is ground and polished to a finely tapered edge with a 1/32” radius.

MODEL 107-16Inspired by Yamasaki's design envisioned as

Aladdin's lamp with the bubbler forming the "han-

dle". In profile, this satin finish stainless steel foun-tain clearly shows graceful

lines which compliment any decor. That's the rea-son it was chosen for the

National Museum of Art in Washington, DC. Filtrine's

MODEL 90 FOUNTAINS offer a wide variety of attractive foun-tains in a more ‘conventional’ square design. These fountains may be made in virtually any material, but are normally produced in stainless, statuary bronze, bronze or polymer aggregate. Standard stainless or bronze fountains are created in 16 gauge. For “Vandal-Proof ” Models (which include a metal plate on the bottom of the fountain) 14 gauge is available. Model 90 fountains can be easily customized with a variety of safety and convenience features such as glass/carafe filler, “Soft-Touch” button valve, and "to fit" cover plates.

MODEL 103This fully recessed drinking fountain is shown in 16 gauge stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish with mirror finish push-button bubbler and drain. This popular model saves valu-able floor space, aids in handicap access by eliminating the “Cooler in the Corridor” and adds a deco-rative feature as well.

MODEL 102This semi-recessed fountain

ton bubbler. These fountains free up corridor space and are wheelchair accessible.

MODEL 90-PA-1270Model 90 fountains provide classical

styling with a wide variety of materials to create beauti-ful fountains used in some of the Worlds greatest

buildings. As an example, this beautiful pure white model with “gold” bubbler and “Soft-Touch” button

of mirrored bronze, was custom created to serve with High/Low models in the Prophets Mosque of

“DUAL SEAL” ELEMENT DESIGN ELIMINATES SHRINKAGE AND BYPASSConventional cartridge-type filters depend upon compression of the cartridge top and bottom to effect a seal. When wet, the average cartridge loses some rigidity, making it impossible to maintain this original seal.

TasteMaster elements employ no cartridge compression. Using an exclusive “Dual Seal” design whereby the element slides over a center standpipe, they are sealed top and bottom by O-rings to insure first-day effectiveness for the life of the element.

CARBON BLOCK PURIFIER ELEMENTSThe activated carbon in the TasteMaster element is a natural material and will biodegrade over time. Element replacement is easy and done in a minute!

POINT-OF-USE PARTICULATE WATER FILTERSFiltrine's Particulate Water Filters are ideal for

water treatment when turbidity, particulates and suspended solids are present in make-up water.

• PF ELEMENTS FOR COMPLETE PARTICLE FILTRATION PF filters remove sediment and other suspended particles using elementss made from thermally-bonded microfibers of polypropylene. "Graded Depth" construction provide element fibers which are wound more tightly toward the core of the cartridge. Consequently, the entire depth of the filter element is used for more effective filtration and longer service life.

• STAINLESS STEEL FILTER HOUSING Heavy duty stainless steel outer shell with highest quality National Sanitation Foundation listed, FDA grade polypropylene inner liner for maximum durability and extra long service life.

THE SAFE ALTERNATIVE TO CHLORINESteri-Flo

® ultraviolet sterilizers kill bacteria without chlorine or other

chemicals and therefore have no cancer-causing by-products. They are recommended as an alternative to chlorine treatment for rural homes on well systems and as added protection for hospitals, office buildings, etc. where cryptosporidium and other micro-organisms may be retained in the bio-film on the walls of city water mains.

In Steri-Flo sterilizers UV radiation, with a wavelength of 2,536 angstrom

is produced from a low pressure mercury lamp. The lamp is encased in a special high-purity quartz sleeve which is immersed in water inside of the stainless steel sterilizing chamber. By regulating the flow of water through this chamber, disease-causing micro-organisms, such as bacteria, algae, spores and viruses are exposed to a dose of at least 40,000µw-sec/cm2 ... over twice the dosage required to ensure safe drinking water.

PRE-FILTRATION IMPROVES WATER QUALITYAND STERILIZATION PROCESS

PF Model pre-filter removes any particulate matter, improving the clarity of the water. Plus, this filter cartridge eliminates particulate shadowing in the UV sterilization chamber... increasing the destruction rate of water borne pathogens. READY-TO-ISSUE GUIDE SPECIFICATIONIn order to provide purified drinking water to potable water outlets as shown on plan, contractor shall furnish combination ultraviolet sterilizer and water filter to provide protection against sediment plus UV sterilizer to kill bacteria including E. coli.

PF MODEL PRE-FILTER: To remove particulate matter, improving the clarity of the water.

TASTEMASTER PURIFIER: Activated carbon block elements on water inlet to remove organic tastes/odors, chlorine taste/odor and sediment to 5 microns.

Free-Standing Chiller/Purifier Specifications

* Assume 1 qt. (0.9L) per day per person in typical usage. Capacities based on 80°F (27°C) inlet, 50°F (10°C) outlet. ES models include extra capacity to handle heat loss of insulated piping in the circulating loop up to the length shown. READY-TO-ISSUE SPECIFICATION: In order to provide 50OF purified drinking water to potable water outlets as shown on plan, contractor shall furnish Free-Standing Chiller/Purifier Unit To Include: Hermetic compressor 115/60/1 with condenser, thermostat, expansion valve, sight glass and dehydrator. Cooling tank #304 stainless steel, insulated with closed cell thermoelastomer with stainless steel immersion coil evaporator. Purifier to remove sediment particles, chemicals such as chlorine, organic tastes and odors. Stainless steel pump to circulate 50OF water to all outlets. All contained in a free-standing rustproof, enameled steel cabinet with key-latched grille for ventilation and service access. No hinge or screws shall be visible on front of the mounted unit. Chiller/Purifier Shall Be: Model ES- ( ) -RFC-FS as manufactured in USA with USA parts and labor by Filtrine Manufacturing Company Keene, NH and shall include Lifetime Warranty.

WATER TREATMENT FEATURESPURITY MONITOR: Monitors temperature, clarity and purity of water.

PRE-FILTER: Removes suspended particulates to 5 micron, clarifies water for improved Purifier/Sterilizer performance and operational life. Element easy to change without tools.

TASTEMASTER® PURIFIER: Element adsorbs taste, odors, organic chemicals, PCB’s, chlorine, and other waste chemicals. Carbon block element - is easy to change without tools. Lead reduction available using optional LeadMiser element.

STERI-FLO® UV STERILIZER: Kills harmful micro- organisms such as Giardia, Cryptosporidium,bacteria, algae, spores and viruses.

PHOSPHATE FEEDER: Prevents leaching of lead, inhibits rust and protects plumbing.

Plus control over purityA filtrine water system provides point-of-entry control of drinking water for maximum security and cost effectiveness. filtrine water systems employ three modules to filter, cool/sterilize and circulate water to all connected outlets throughout a facility. These modules provide complete protection of potable water against rust, sediment, tastes and odors, industrial pollutants, organic contaminants and waterborne microorganisms. Additionally, when the central chiller is situated in a locked and secure mechanical room, the closed loop of the filtrine water system eliminates the threat of intentional contamination - the water is pure and secure.

PIPING LAYOUT.“Lets the water do the running”

The optimum piping layout consists of: A) Supply header in central core wet column from chiller to all floors B) Horizontal feeder loops running in plenum on each floor C) Return header in same central core wet column. By providing the convenience of pure water in every plenum, you have insured unlimited flexibility for future interior layout revisions and an automated system of filtrine water brings the pure chilled water to wherever it is needed at all filling stations, icemakers, coffee urns etc. in any quantity required... from a sip to a full carafe.

SIZINGAssumes 1 qt (0.9L)/day per person in a typical office building. For buildings with heavy usage such as hospitals, schools and public buildings, reduce the number of persons served by 1/2 to allow for two qts.(1.9L) per day per person. Capacities based on 80°F (27°C) inlet, 50°F (10°C) outlet.

PIPING ALLOWANCEEach “Energy Saving” chiller includes extra capacity to handle heat loss to insulated piping in the circulating loop up to the length shown. For piping in excess of this allowance, reduce population served by 100 people for every 100 ft. of additional piping.

LOCATION and TYPE OF OUTLETS SERVEDOFFICES: Filtrine water line serves fountains and filling stations for carafes and bottles in office areas plus ice makers, coffee and water dispensers in dining area. No more expensive and space-consuming bottled water!

HOSPITALS: “Room Service” filtrine water is served in each patients’ room automatically, eliminates hand delivery by the nursing staff.

FOOD SERVICE AREAS: filtrine water chilled water is available for food prep, ingredient mixing, carbonators, ice machines or glass/pitcher fillers.

FACTORIES: Drinking fountains served by the filtrine water system can be conveniently located close to workstation groups to minimize walking time. “Bottled Water” on tap saves floor space and eliminates the on-going expense of bottled water.

Purifier/Chiller Unit Shall Include: Compressor with condenser, high/low pressure stat, expansion valve, sight glass and dehydrator. Circulation pump to be centrifugal stainless steel, mounted on rubber pads. Cooling tank shall be #304 stainless steel, insulated with closed cell thermoelastomer with stainless steel immersion coil evaporator. Filter shall include replaceable pre-filter element(s) and activated carbon. Sterilizer housing shall be stainless steel with UV tubes (40,000µw-sec/cm2) removable without tools. All housed in an aluminum cabinet mounted on steel frame.

Purifier/Chiller Unit Shall Be: Steri-Cool Model ES ( ) RFC as manufactured in USA by Filtrine Manufacturing Company, Keene, NH and shall include start-up and (3) year factory-monitored maintenance contract.

Lead Reduction Option: In order to reduce lead to below EPA acceptable levels, contractor shall furnish lead reduction filter, which includes NSF listed ion-exchange media in an extruded structure, installed on recirculating water line. Filter cartridge shall be removable without tools. (Contact Filtrine Manufacturing Company for selection.)
