RULES OF SERVICE:

1) Filled waste bins should remain within the premises of individuals and should only be placed in public for collection within the reach of collectors after 5pm of the preceding day and before 5am of the day of collection.

2) Proper use of standard waste bins and the sacs for separation of waste materials is advised:

- the cardboards/hardcards (carta) are NOT to be put in sacs but rather in the blue containers. Excess of it should be put in one of the paper cartons and be placed on top or adjacent the blue container;

- plastic bottles should be put in the transparent yellow sacs. They should be absolutely empty an must be squeezed to reduce the volume or size. In the case of "condominio" containers, the plastic sacs are not provided by Geovest;

- miscellaneous wastes (indifferenziata) go inside the gray (grigio) bins using any ideal sacs except the yellow ones from Geovest which are intended for plastic bottles. The containers/bins for the miscellaneous waste are acquired personally and may be identified by civic numbers or names.

- green leaves/grass go into the white sacs.

3) The plastic sacs could be obtained at the:

- Stazione Ecologica Attrezzata(SEA) in via Valluzza - Public Relation Office - Office of Geovest in via Marconi 36

4) The white sacs intended for green leaves/grass could be requested by email: tecnico@geovest.it or toll free number 800 276650

5) The sacs distributed by Geovest should be used exclusively for the specified purposes preventing wastage.

6) Compostable/paper bags obtained from the super-markets during shopping could be put to good use in order to save money.

7) It's individual's responsibility to periodically wash or clean waste bins.

Abandoning of refuse near the public waste bins and disposal of strange materials into the containers intended for only organic waste still remains a problem. Measures are being taken to check this incorrect comportment and also tracking and issueing fines to transgressors.

LET'S REMEMBER TO AVOID : i) abbandoning refuse on the ground, NOT even near the public waste bins; ii) dropping strange materials into the containers intended for organic waste Or for glass bottles only; iii) setting out waste bins and sacs in days contrary to the stipulated days.

INCORRECT COMPORTMENT SHALL BE SANCTIONED
