HOTEL CHECK-IN

All hotel rooms are booked in the guest’s name as part of the Senate Grand Prix group. To check-in you simply need to show your passport at reception, you

will not require any voucher or receipt to check-in. The hotel will take some credit card details as you are responsible to cover any additional expenses or

incidentals costs incurred during your stay. Breakfast and local taxes are included with all of our hotel rooms.

There will be a welcome pack waiting for you at the hotel which will give you further details of the weekend including, ticket collection instructions, any

transport or extras you have booked and all of our contact details for the weekend.

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00, unless you have arranged otherwise. During this very busy period some of the hotels may not have all of

their rooms ready for the 15:00 check in time. We sincerely apologise if you are affected by this and suggest you leave your bags at the hotel and start

enjoying yourself until the room becomes available.

Please note: During the racing when the track is closed some of the hotels in Monaco have restricted access:

Hotel de Paris will only be accessible through its back entrance on Avenue des Beaux-Arts which is opposite the front of the Hotel Hermitage

The Fairmont Hotel is only accessible via a temporary footbridge which is located next to the Hotel Metropole. In order to gain access to this

temporary footbridge it is compulsory that you have a hotel pass. Therefore the Fairmont Hotel operates a remote check-in on the Avenue De

Grande Bretagne, in the estate agents AFIM’s offices where you can get a hotel pass if you haven’t already received this. The map at the end of this

document shows you both access routes.

have access to emails. However our Senate Hotline is the best way to contact us - +336 8086 8988.

Please note: Over the race weekend the network in Monaco often struggles to cope with the high call volumes. If you experience difficulty contacting us

please try again a few minutes later or email us and we will get back to you ASAP.

RACE VIEWING ACCESS Ermanno Palace: The building is located on Rue Grimaldi next to the car garage, look for Grandstand A signs as this is next to the building. When the track is in use guests must enter the building from its back entrance. Our welcome desk is located here so guests can check in and then be shown to the suite. The elevators can get very busy during peak times therefore we advise early arrival and if you wish to avoid the queues you may choose to make use of the stairs. Fairmont Hotel: When the track is in use please enter the Fairmont Hotel by its roof-top entrance via a metal foot bridge over the track. The entrance to the footbridge is located by the Metropole Hotel (see map). You will need a hotel access pass to cross this bridge to get into the Fairmont therefore if you have NOT collected your passes in advance please go to the Fairmont Hotel’s remote check in on Avenue de Grande Bretagne. Here the hotel will give you a temporary hotel access pass that you can exchange for your race viewing passes with our welcome desk at the roof-top entrance of the hotel (see map). Grandstands: On the day of the race viewing you can collect your ticket from our desk at the Hotel Hermitage on Avenue de l ‘Hermitage. A weekend grandstand ticket also gives you permission to access the public pit-lane walk between 14:30 – 18:00 on Friday 26th May. Hotel de Paris: When the track is in use guests should use the hotels back entrance, located opposite the front of the Hotel Hermitage. Please tell the security you are with Senate Grand Prix and they will show you to our welcome desk. Hotel Hermitage: Please use the side entrance of the Hotel Hermitage on Avenue de l ’Hermitage where our welcome desk is located. Joel Robuchon Terrace: Please enter the Metropole Hotel and check in with reception. The restaurant will have a guest list confirming your name. Rascasse: Guests should approach this venue using the security gate on Avenue du Port. Following signs for Grandstand V will help guide you to this location as this stand is next to Rascasse. Once past the security gate guests should walk behind Grandstand V and up onto Avenue de la Quarantine to use the metal footbridge across the track that is needed to access Rascasse. When on the metal foot bridge guests will see signs for the stair access to Rascasse. Yacht Viewing: Please check-in with the Senate Grand Prix staff located at Moshi Moshi restaurant in Fontvieille Harbour, opposite Yacht Tender Depart (see map). Guests are transferred to the yacht by tender starting at 08:00am each day. Guests will be required to use a ladder over the front side of the yacht to board the yacht. If any guests do not feel comfortable using a ladder please contact us in advance to arrange an alternative access method. If you have problems locating our staff on the day please contact our yacht staff on the following number + 336 2689 5296 (number is only operational on Thursday, Saturday & Sunday of the GP week).

Venue Opening/Closing Times

Race viewing locations will be open from the first racing of the day until the last race of the day. Please check the race schedule below for specific times as

they vary slightly. These times will also be on the back of your passes which you can refer to when you’re in Monaco.

Safety & Security

Safety will be a priority for the Monaco authorities during the Grand Prix period therefore security checks will be in operation. It is advised that guests carry

identification with them at all times and allow additional time for any delays this causes. Please keep your pass around your neck so that you are easily

identified with Senate Grand Prix when you are in your suites.

Dress Code

The Monaco Grand Prix is generally quite a smart event and guests who make an effort with their attire will fit in well. We want all of our guests to feel

comfortable with what they wear so the below suggestions may be considered for certain locations:

Hotel de Paris, Hotel Hermitage & Metropole Hotel - Smart attire - trousers only

Fairmont Suites, Ermanno Palace, Rascasse, Yachts, - Smart/Casual - Tailored shorts/jeans or chino's

Fairmont Roof-top Seats and all grandstands - Casual - shorts acceptable

Footwear: Monaco is known for its steep hills and with the track closing normal routes a good amount of walking is required. At race viewing locations you

may stand for a period of time so please take this into consideration when choosing your footwear. Wedges/smart flat sandals are a popular choice for ladies.

Yacht footwear: Guests are allowed to wear shoes on board our yacht as we have laid a protective carpet. But ladies are advised that if their heels are

particularly narrow then they may have to remove them so not to damage the decks.

Please consider forecasted weather conditions and be prepared with appropriate clothing. This particularly applies to the grandstands, Fairmont roof-top

and yachts where shelter is limited.
