GTMC Data Project

The Brief

To collect, consolidate and report on data collected from the GTMC member TMCs

To provide an analytical foundation to the GTMC (secretariat) in order to support lobbying activity and to be shared with appropriate industry, institutional and government bodies.

Recognise that due to sensitivity the data specification is restricted to limited fields and due to the varying mid/back office systems across the TMCs, the data may not be uniform.

All reporting delivered to GTMC Secretariat

Secretariat will have capability to slice and dice

Secretariat discretion for distribution to members

Members and secretariat will only be able to view consolidated outcome (not member specific)

Data secure in PCI / ISO facility

Members produce file in predetermined format

File stored in specific location

7r Data Collector searches, collects and uploads

Conversion of data fields if required

Data appended to file stored in secure SQL database

Predetermined reports delivered from database

Ad-hoc requests from GTMC prepared from database

All Reports delivered to GTMC secretariat

Proposed Timelines

Ratify data fields and field format - Nov 14

Send GTMC members a request for data in December, for completion by mid January

Produce first reports in January 2015 based on December 2014 & 2013 data

Data collection monthly – 1st 12 months to cover current and previous year months
