highlighted the Viña Errázuriz Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir 2013 as the Best Chilean Pinot Noir over £15 and awarded it a Regional Trophy among the Gold Medal winners.“�is Pinot Noir is the result of many years of dedication to achieving the style that I was looking for in this challenging variety. To reach it I have made some significant adjustments in our vineyard management and winemaking techniques. �e 2013 Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir is the first version of this new style that I have been seeking,” commented Errázuriz’s Head Winemaker Francisco Baettig.

ames Suckling, one of the most influential wine critics in the world, visited Chile from April 16 to 21 to taste and review more than 600 wines from different valleys. J

Suckling spent the first day of his trip at the Errázuriz Aconcagua Costa Vineyard and Don Maximiano Estate, tasting the best vintages of each wine crafted in these terroirs. �e following night Eduardo Chadwick organized a welcome dinner at Viñedo Chadwick with a select group of winemakers and owners of the most important Chilean wineries.�e former editor for Wine Spectator magazine and current editor of the exclusive luxury magazine Asia Tatler and his own jamessuckling.com was also interviewed by two local newspapers.

�e Chinese wine writer Sophie Liu was in Chile conducting interviews and tastings for her new book “Top 18 Chilean Wines.” In her short list of the best wines from Chile, Sophie selected Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve, Viñedo Chadwick, and Seña among mostly red blends. During her visit to the winery, Sophie interviewed Viña Errázuriz President Eduardo Chadwick, who gave her a copy of �e Berlin Tasting book to express his gratitude for her collaboration in the Chinese edition.

Tomoko Ebisawa is one of Japan’s most prominent wine journalists and the Senior Editor of Vinotheque Magazine, the oldest specialized wine magazine published in Japanese. In her search for the world’s most distinguished terroirs, she visited the main vineyard blocks that contribute grapes for Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve. After the tour the critic tasted the wine along with the winemaker.

Wine Spectator's top scoring selections of the world's finest wines were showcased during the latest version of the annual Wine Spectator Grand Tour held in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Dallas from April 30 to May 8, 2015. Once again Viña Errázuriz was invited to participate with one of its icon wines: Don Maximiano Founder’s Reserve 2012.

Errázuriz winemaker Francisco Baettig’s wine tastings and dinners in Montreal were a roaring success. During his three-day visit, Francisco met some of Canada’s leading wine writers, such as Nadia Fournier, Samy Rabbat, and Jean François Demers, all of whom were delighted with the new vintages of Errázuriz wines.

Viña Errázuriz had an outstanding performance at the Winnipeg Wine Festival of Canada. In addition to showcasing our wines at the Errázuriz stand, our Commercial Director for North America Michel Couttolenc showed the audience of Canada’s Global TV how to taste wine.

For his image “Pinot Noir Being Pressed,” Champagne Consultant and photographer VictorPugatschew was named the winner of the Errázuriz Wine Photographer of the Year award at the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2015 reception in London.�e Errázuriz Wine Photographer category consists of three sub-categories: Produce, People, and Places. Victor’s winning shot scooped the Produce section; Matt Wilson (Chile) took top place in the People section with a portrait of Jacques Lardière, and Robert Holmes (USA) won the Places division with his depiction of the Maryhill Winery in Washington, USA.
