What is GREEN LANE?
Fundamentally the Green Lane Program is intended to become a Customs Clearance “Fast Track” Program that rapidly clears Green Lane Cer2fied cargo through port-‐of-‐entry Customs and thereby shortens the 2me its take to reach its final des2na2on.

The Model The Globe Tracker Green Lane Model is a replica of the successful interna2onal airport security “trusted traveler” fast track programs Global Entry and Clear Lane. These self-‐cer2fying programs distribute the bulk of the burden to the traveler requiring them to preregister with sufficient informa2on to qualify for the program and then to provide cer2fica2on of their qualified registra2on on demand at the point-‐of-‐benefit – when passing through airport security checkpoints.
In Globe Tracker’s Green Lane Model the Green Lane Cer2fica2on is communicated to port-‐of-‐entry Customs on the shipments Electronic Manifest.
Approved Shipper loads the container and verifies its contents.
Approved shipper locks the container with a GT eSeal.
GT Communica2ons Unit permanently installed on container.
Con2nues monitoring as truck heads to terminal.
The Green Lane container travels to the des2na2on port where its Electronic Manifest asserts that it is Green Lane compliant. The shipping logis2cs company has been monitoring the containers eSeal throughout its journey to ensure that its cargo was not tampered
Data from the eSeal is shared with the customs agency at the departure port and shared with des2na2on port in real 2me.
Container travels to the des2na2on port transmiZng/logging its data along the Journey.
Container travels to the des2na2on port transmiZng/logging its data along the Journey.
Container arrives at the des2na2on port where infrastructure uploads GT Comm. Unit and eSeal data from the trip journey.
Container now is considered Green Lane and is able to exit the terminal directly.
Should the eSeal experience a breach it will communicate its 2me and date of occurance to the GT Communica2ons Unit and this will report it directly to the owner of the container so that it can be shared with Customs at the Port of arrival. This Container is no longer GREEN LANE. Missing eSeals also denote Breach of GREEN LANE and are subject to inspec2on.

Shipping Logis@cs Company: Less delays in the shipping process be^er turns on their containers. Happier customers.
The shipping logis2cs company offers Green Lane services which gives it either a compe22ve advantage and or a feed based premium service. The shipping logis2cs company works hard to “police” its Green Lane cargo to protect those advantages i.e. losing its Green Lane Cer2fica2on translates into lost business and revenues.

Customs/Border Protec@on: Being given more informa2on to make easier and quicker decisions on safe cargo without changing any processes they have today. Improves the overall container inspec2on rates by moving inspec2ons back onto the beneficiary shipping logis2cs companies. Custom “spot” inspec2on con2nue as normal.
Departure Port: Building rela2onships with des2na2on ports to increase trade flows and volumes of depar2ng cargo over other departure ports that do not have GREEN LANE.
