Dennis Ooi

A Chartered Accountant, Dennis has more than 14 years of experience in providing professional accountancy services. Currently Dennis is attached to OKP Group, specialising in providing a range of professional services including audit, corporate secretarial, taxation, GST advisory, administrative outsourcing, and accounting services. Previously served as an interim middle-level executive from 2001 to 2005 involving in the corporate restructuring projects of three public listed companies and a start-up project of an IT company, and then as a Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services, Ernst & Young, Singapore from 2005 to 2006.

He has also worked on many audit and assurance engagements when he started his career in Deloitte, Kuala Lumpur, after completing the ACCA examination in 1999 at the age 21. He was specialising in manufacturing, plantation, banking, property development, trading, shipping and freight forwarding industries, besides experience in special assignments including financial due diligences, and investigation of irregularities in the corporate banking department for a financial institution.

Dennis has recently obtained the GST certification issued by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for GST Practitioners in Malaysia. He conducts training on Goods and Services Tax implementation issues.

Qualifications and Memberships• Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified

Accountants (FCCA).• Chartered Member of the Malaysian Institute of

Accountants (CA, MIA).
